Break up

"nayeon, i think we should break up."
"why? you found another girl?"
"bye."
"who is it? that hirai girl?"
"dont you dare call her by her surname."
"wae? heartache?"
"yes so what"

NAYEON'S POV

ever since last week when Jeongyeon and I went out together and saw her old friend Hirai Momo who recently came to Korea, Jeongyeon has started being cold towards me. she became all secretive everyday and stayed up late texting someone. her phone password used to be the date we started dating but she changed the password after we met the Momo girl. i tried my birthday and her birthday but it was all wrong. yup and so 2yeon is over. i went to buy beers home to drink and that was how i spent 2 months. i was fired from my work (accountant) because i was absent for work for 1 month and didn't answer my boss calls and messages. great. now i'm broke and workless.

*DING DONG*

the doorbell rang. i dragged myself to the door and opened the door. a woman was standing outside. not jeongyeon or momo but the house agent. "yes? how may i help you" i asked. "hi is this Im Nayeon?" the agent asked. "mhm" i said. "Ms Nayeon, i'm sorry to say but i'm afraid i have to take back this house." she said. my eyes widen. what did she just say? she's taking back the house?? "b..but why??" i asked worriedly. i don't want to be homeless. "Ms Jeongyeon called the agency and told us she didn't want the house anymore and told me to tell you this" she explained. WHAT? YOO JEONGYEON DOESN'T WANT ME TO STAY IN THIS HOUSE ANYMORE?? "um....o..okay.. but can you at least give me time to pack?" i asked. "sure i'll be back tomorrow." after saying that, she left. i closed the door and went back to our room, or rather my room since Jeongyeon left. i decided i should stop being sad about the break up  since Jeongyeon is so cruel. I threw all the beer away, cleaned my whole house because i made a mess when Jeongyeon left and took a shower. after that, i give one of my good friend, Jihyo a call.

J: hello?
N: Jihyo it's me Nayeon.
J: hey what's up?
N: i broke up with Jeongyeon and she told the house agency to take this house away.
J: WHAT? HOW CAN SHE DO THAT?
N: precisely. and i'm jobless and so obviously i'm broke.
J: so you wanna come stay at my house?
N: smart. but can i?
J: of course you can!
N: thanks so much!! can i come tmr?
J: anytime!

i'm so glad to have Jihyo as my friend, she's always there to help me. I started packing my clothes and I threw away everything that involves Jeongyeon. though i really miss her, i still hate her for not even letting me live in the house. just when i finished throwing everything that involves Jeongyeon, i received a call from her. ugh, what a bother.

N: what
N: do
N: you
N: want
J: i'm coming over now to take everything that is mine which i haven't take with me.
N: i threw away everything that involves you alr.
J: even our pictures?
N: yes i burnt them
J: wow and you said you love me
N: yes i love you. but not anymore after hearing that you don't even want to let me live in the house.
J: since when?
N: the agent just came and told me
J: that was Momo
N: i don't care

i hung up the call. She knew Momo did it and she allowed it? Wow

JEONGYEON'S POV

"nayeon, i think we should break up."
"why? you found another girl?"
"bye."
"who is it? that hirai girl?"
"dont you dare call her by her surname."
"wae? heartache?"
"yes so what"
"wow."

i had to leave Nayeon. i love her but i also love Momo. Nayeon was the best girlfriend. Momo was my high school friend, she knows all my secret and one of them could lead me in deep trouble. She used that to threaten me and so I changed my password and left Nayeon. I don't feel comfortable with Momo, at all. I feel that I couldn't be myself, I had to watch what I say and honestly it was really hard. I wanted to go back to Nayeon or even text Nayeon secretly but I can't. Momo always hugs me when she sleeps and there is no way I could text Nayeon.

2 months later

I decided to give Nayeon a call to take all my stuff that is still in the house. Well, that's just an excuse to see her. Nayeon answered the call. Yes!!
N: what
N: do
N: you
N: want
J: i'm coming over now to take everything that is mine which i haven't take with me.
N: i threw away everything that involves you alr.
J: even our pictures?
N: yes i burnt them
J: wow and you said you love me
N: yes i love you. but not anymore after hearing that you don't even want to let me live in the house.

N: the agent just came and told me
J: that was Momo
N: i don't care
She hung up the call. Momo told me she'd call the agency to not let Nayeon live in the house but she said she was just joking. Ugh this girl, well, I can't do anything right?
