Courage

Leo is my only sibling and I love him so much but sometimes he is peculiar. Nowadays whenever I'm with him he won't let me in or near his bedroom and he ignores the topic of guns, gangs and killing. Sometimes I feel like I should be taking care of him instead of the other way round. Suddenly my phone starts buzzing like a bee in my back pocket. I pick it up to see work is calling.

"I'll be just a minute" I say before rushing out of the room.

"Hey I know you just left but could you possibly come back to work. Its super busy and we don't have enough waitresses." Its Rosie's voice and I can tell she is stressing out.

"Ok I'm on my way" I run back into the room where Leo is and apologize for leaving so soon, even though it's been almost an hour. Leo seems sad but eventually caves in. "Ok love you bye", I grab my coat off the couch and run out the door. It's not a far drive so it didn't take me long before I arrived.

"Thank god you're here!" Rosie screams as I run into the kitchen, bags at hand. I can tell it's busy by the rush of voices and clattering of plates. It's going to be a long night.
