As the dance was going on people were dancing having fun I'm just sitting there playing with my bracelet

All of a sudden a guy comes up to me I look up and see it was Nathan's friend Owen

"Hey wanna dance I'm alone" he said reaching his hand out
I didn't know what to say
"Yeah sure why not" I said taking his hand and started dancing
I heard Emily say
"I thought that loser was coming alone"
"She looks so pretty" I overheard Nathan say looking at me
"Hey Nathan me me I'm pretty not that loser me Emily Roberto I'm the pretty one not Loren wolfhard" she said turning his head to her

I laughed and continued dancing with Owen

"You know that Emily was the one who asked him to go to the dance with him" Owen said as we were dancing
"Well it looks like it" I say laughing
"Your a very nice girl Loren" he says smiling
"Thanks your very nice too" I say smiling

Once the song was over i went and sat down in the bench, I looked over at Grayson and Alyssa they were still dancing to no music no joke they are the most cutest and CRAZIEST couples in the whole school I love them so much they were holding hands he was twirling her like a princess hugging her she was fixing his hair laughing with him

Why can't I have a relationship like they have
When I got home I took of my makeup and I started to take selfies and finally I picked one and posted it

As I finished my selfie fiasco I went back to my room and started reading my book 'an abundance for Katherine's' by John green

When I finished 3 chapters I believe I closed the book and set it on my night stand

I get a text from Alyssa she told me if she wanted to grab lunch I texted ok back cause you know why not I need this to set my mind of Nathan for a bit and focus on my life and friends
