He's Mine (Chapter 2)

Sophia looked at me then said "Sorry Cindy I never told you this but I think you should know by now, I liked Cody before you did. I don't wanna hurt you but he can only like one of us and I can't loose him there is only one thing I can do! I'm really sorry Cindy."

"What!" i stuttered nervously "Stop joking around like this, you would never do this to me. Common you don't like him your just playing around. Right? You would never do this we are friends and I trusted you!" I felt tears slowly running down my cheeks I didn't believe a word that just came out of her mouth. Sophia would never do such thing to me I told her everything that happened between me and him. 

Then all of a sudden I felt a shove and i fell down the stairs, my head banged on the wall and i felt dizzy. I tried moving my hand and legs but it hurt a lot and everything was blurry. Then I heard Sophia from the top of the stairs say sorry then I think I saw her run away. The late bell rang I couldn't get up i kept on falling back down each time i tried getting up. I thought that even I passed out in the stair case no one will find me till this class ends.Suddenly i heard foot steps coming up the stair case closer and closer. Then i noticed it was Cody, he helped me up then asked me what happened. I didn't want to tell him that Sophia pushed me down the stairs, so i just told him i slipped.

       When we were walking down to the nurse's office he looked confused asked "Didn't you walk to class with that girl Sophia? Didn't she see you slip?"

       I paused for a second then answered him "She saw a friend and told me to meet her in class so she didn't see me fall." He nodded his head and continued walking. When we got to the nurse office he stayed and kept me company, and we talked then whole time. After I got checked and everything by t he nurse he walked me to class he looked at me weirdly and told me to meet him at the front door after school tomorrow. then walked away. I felt like i blushed a little when he said that. I can't wait till tomorrow I was so excited.

       The next day finally came I saw Cody was wearing a purple sweater and he had gray jeans like mine but a little more lighter colored I was very nervous about today. After school I wish this would have happened sooner now is better then nothing. This totally feels like he just asked me on a date! But I'm actually kinda scared what will Sophia do will she hate me forever for this? But I'm totally sure I was the one that like him first I actually liked him since 3rd grade I can't let go now I came to this school just causes I know that hes coming here too. I can't not meet up with him later I got to go even if Sophia hates me till I die I got to go!

        Class finally ended I ran straight down stairs to the front door. I was about to push the door open till I saw a girl walk up to Cody and hugged him then kissed him on the lip, then she walked away. I was so shocked I started crying a little I can't face him like this I have to pretend i didn't see a thing that just happened. I wiped away my tears took a breathe then started walking towards him. "Hi-" I felt a pat on my shoulder I turned around and saw my friend Jackie. As always he keeps dyeing his hair different colors this time its blond and it kinda looks good on him.

          "Cindy i saw you crying before is everything okay"

          "Oh hi Jackie i didn't know you are going to this school too, and everything is fine. Um... I'll just text you later  I have to meet up with someone"

          "Sure okay if there is any problem just tell me I'll always be here for you"

          "Thanks Jackie bye" I gave him a hug then walked toward Cody my heart started pounding against my chest random thoughts kept getting into my head I was stuck when I was right behind him I felt like slapping him so badly. But I'm not officially going out with him yet so I have no right to get into his business.
