A War?!

Narrator pov
Sasha startled awake. Something was wrong. She could feel it. She quickly changed and rushed out.

She was going to the disturbance when she was stopped.

Albafica and Asmita knew the child would try to leave the minute she felt something. They both were on their way to the temple when the girl in question ran past them.

They rushed after her only to find Degel holding the girl still. He noticed the two gold saints.
" Asmita. Albafica." They both nodded in response.
" Let me go!" Degel looked down at the stubborn goddess.
" Athena. We can not just let you leave." Sasha groaned and stayed still. The three gold saints knew better than to believe the child was giving in.
" Don't even think about it young lady." Asmita said.
" Fine." Tenma and Alone came running in just then. Alone noticed the grip Degel had on his sister and he got upset. He pulled her away and held her close. It wasn't long before Dohko came running in out of breath. He was followed by Shion.
" Tenma. You're not supposed to just run off. You know........" Dohko paused noticing the state their goddess was in. She was holding tightly to Alone and had her face buried in his chest. Tenma was next to her rubbing her back. The gold saints kept quiet watching the three. They knew the three were beyond close.

Later that day Sasha was just relaxing. Or rather relaxing in the Virgo temple. She often looked to Asmita like a older brother. Finally she spoke.
" Asmita. May I ask you a question?" The Virgo saint lifted his head up and turned it to face the child.
" What is it?"
"Earlier. Did you feel the disturbance also?"
" Of course Athena. We all felt something was up."
" Oh."
" What is it?" The young girl looked down.
" It's just......I'm worried."
" About?" The girl muttered something.
" What was that?"
" I know the war is coming but I don't want it. I don't want you all to get hurt or worse." Asmita was shocked. He knew that Sasha had grown attached to all of the gold saints but he had no idea it was to this extent.
" Athena. It is our job to protect you. Even if that means dying or getting hurt." Sasha bit her lip and hid her face in her hair. Asmita sighed and put a hand on her head.
" Don't worry. When we do die it will be fighting. But we will try not to leave you for as long as we can." Sasha nodded and then hugged the Virgo. He was shocked than hugged her back.

Later that day Sasha went to find Shion. She had grown close to the Aries saint.

Shion looked up when he sensed the child.
" Athena. What are you doing here?" The child looked down and then ran to him. She hugged him tightly. He was shocked then sighed and petted her hair with one hand and used his other hand to rub her back.
" It's okay. You're safe." She buried her face into his chest and cried. Though she was slightly older she certainly did still act like a child sometimes. And even though she was Athena the gold saints knew she had a human side to her.

A week later
A week had passed and Sasha had only grown more nervous as time had passed. Which of course made everyone else nervous.

One day Sasha decided to sneak out. She went to see Alone and Tenma playing. Sasha ran and hugged them both.
" Sasha!" Both boys yelled. She giggled.
" Hi." Tenma pouted while Alone laughed.

The three played for a bit before Alone and Tenma noticed something.
"Sasha!" Tenma grabbed Sasha and got her away while Alone tried to fight the things. The three ended up getting knocked down. Alone was knocked unconscious while Tenma and Sasha were still awake. A man came out of the ground and attacked Sasha but Tenma interfered. Finally Sasha had enough. She let her cosmo out.
" Enough! Don't you touch him!!" The spector laughed.
" I'll get to you in a minute. Just have patience little lady." He turned his head and froze. Than he laughed maniacally.
" I see. You saved me the trouble of looking for you. Athena." Sasha frowned.
" Leave them alone." The spector turned to her and made a move to attack when he was attacked himself.
" Starlight extinction!" Shion came up and bowed.
" I'm sorry for my tardiness Athena." Sasha smiled than froze and ran over to Alone with Tenma.
"Nii-san!" Alone groaned and opened his eyes.
" Ugh. What happened?" Sasha got tears in her eyes than threw her arms around her brother's neck. She sobbed while he petted her hair. Tenma rubbed Sasha's back. Just than Degel, Dohko, and Asmita came running down.
" Shion! What happened?!" The temperamental Aries saint frowned.
" What happened is you left them alone. You know Lady Athena tends to sneak out to see them." Sasha was watching Shion scold them and she was giggling. Alone laughed while Tenma was grinning.
" They're getting scolded for once instead of us." Tenma whispered to Alone and Sasha. Both children giggled and ended up on the floor laughing hard. The gold saints finally noticed the children having fun at their expense. Dohko went over and picked up the boy who had become like a little brother to him and ruffled his hair roughly.
" Something funny?"
" Yep. You three are scared of Shion." Alone and Sasha were still giggling. Sasha stood up and went over to Shion and hugged him. The Aries saint calmed down and petted the child's head. Asmita and Degel were smiling at the young goddess. Shion spoke.
" Athena. We should get you back." Sasha pouted. She was suddenly tackled down by Alone and Tenma.
" Don't worry. We'll be fine." Alone said. Tenma nodded.
" Yep. We'll be perfect. If they let us survive." Tenma whispered the last sentence. Sasha burst into a fit of giggles.

Shion took Sasha back to the main temple. When the child saw Sage she ran to him and hugged him. He smiled and petted the girl's hair.
" Lady Athena. Where were you?" Sasha laughed nervously. Shion spoke.
" Pope. May I speak to you?" The pope nodded and left with the gold saint.

Sasha waited for a bit before she felt something. She groaned then fell down in pain. Shion and Sage immediately ran in and over to her. Shion picked up the young goddess. She was warm and sweating. Sasha had her eyes closed and was clearly in pain. Sage and Shion shared a look. Sage stood up.
" Shion. Stay with her. I will get the others." Shion bowed then took the girl to her room.

He laid her down on her bed gently. The gold saints had grown to care deeply for their goddess. She was amazing for a child. Just then the door opened to reveal Sisyphus. He had always been close to the goddess as he was her protector. Shion nodded at Sisyphus. He nodded back then sat down. He felt Sasha's forhead.
" She's warm." Shion nodded his head. Just then Sasha opened her eyes.
" Shion. Sisyphus." They both looked at their goddess. Her eyes were glazed over.
" He's coming. Hades will awaken." The two gold saints tensed. Sasha's eyes went back to normal then she held onto Shion tightly. She was scared. They hadn't seen her like this in a long time. This wasn't going to be easy at all.
