I saw her from afar and for some reason I was attracted to her, she was my best friends girlfriend but they're not doing so well, he is annoying. I sit down at the table and say hi to both of them and she looks at me with a hint of I think it's relief. But after lunch he just leaves her at the table and I walk over to her and talk to her, "did he just leave you?" She replies sadly "Yeah, he always does." I look at her and sigh, "if you like I can take you to class, if you want me too." She smiles broadly at me "sure, that's be nice." All of a sudden I felt my heart breaking into a million pieces, how could he do this to such a cute and seemingly innocent woman. I start to walk and realize I'm walking to fast for her and fix my pace to match hers. I walk her to class and when we get there we say goodbye and I walk to class, I'm usually late anyways. After school I see them together, she seems upset and he's just walking away and I sit down next to her and ask her what's wrong, "he broke up with me, he called me clingy and boring." I just look at her and my body reacts and I end up hugging her and it surprises both of us and in the heat of the moment I tell her "you're beautiful and you deserves better than him, you deserve someone who understands and actually wants you but until then your stuck with me being by your side, I'll be like your wingman." She smiles and wholes her eyes "thank you so much" and I respond "it's no big deal he was an asshole anyways."
