"Mom!" I yell out to my mom
"Yes?" She says
"I'm leaving." I say
"Alright be safe." She says coming to give me a kiss.
"Bye."
At school...
"Connor!" Yells Brad, my best friend
"Yo!" I say while doing our signature handshake
"So hows your dad?" He asks
"Not so good. He's not improving." I say looking down.
"He'll pull through, he's a strong guy." He says putting his arm around me
"Oh look its the gays of the school." Jack says
"Shut up, we are not gay." Brad says
"Thats what they all say." Jack says
"JJ, leave them alone." Oliver says
"Ollie, shut up." He says
"No JJ, he's right. Leave them alone." Says Shannon, the hottie of our school.
Thank god she saved us, i was about punch the heck out of him.
The bell rings. (School is over.)
"Mom!" I say running up to her
"Connor, slow down." She gets on her knees
"Dad is....dead." She says
"No, he can't be." I say looking down
"I'm sorry." She says hugging me.
5 days later.....
"Shawn, what's going on?" My mom asks
"I don't know Lily. But we gotta go. Connor go pack your bags." Shawn says looking at me. I nod. I wonder what's going on.
