Hi there readers of mine! Before beginning this new chapter, I want to thank all of you for reading my story! It's almost unbelievable that this story reached 1,000 views!! Also really sorry for the late update, didn't have much inspiration and to my opinion, this chapter is a little bit boring ... Sorry about that, but I still hope you'll enjoy it. Next chapter should be out soon! Enjoy and cya next time! =)

The black fog fades away and the arena returns to it's usual colour. I'm finally able to control my body again. 'That was awfull ...' Not only my body, but also my soul hurts. It feels like someone pierced through it with a thick needle and injected some sort of venom in it. I still have an enormous headache and a big bump starts forming at the back of my head. It feels like the fog that had just disappeared out of the arena was also in my head, only it wouldn't get out so quick.
After sitting there for five minutes, not realising what was all happening around me, I suddenly felt someone's hands on my shoulders. I look up in a pair of worried brown eyes in a young face.
"Are you ok?", he asks. It feels so weird, knowing he was the one that just got attacked by a ... demon.
"Yea, I guess I am. Just a little bit of a headache but nothing too bad. But why are you asking me? How did you even survive that?", I say, completely astounished.
"Blaze blocked the attack, duuuh ..."
Just when I want to ask him who or what Blaze even is, Sam carefully gets pulled back and instead a pair of dark green eyes pierce through myne.
"Well, Jason, that was rather ... spectacular."
"I'm sorry Chaeron, it really wasn't my intention to do so!"
"I know, Jason, I know. It's also kind of my fault for underestimating your power ... Luckily nothing really bad happened, thanks to Sam.", he says while looking over his shoulder.
"How did he even block that attack? For me it felt unstoppable, but he makes it sound like it was nothing. When I asked him, he simply said Blaze stopped it ...
"Honestly, I have no idea.", Chaeron says while still looking over his shoulder, where Sam is balancing a small blue orb on his hand, "Does it really matter? He saved you and the others, no idea how, but he did. And whatever that Blaze is, it saved us. Maybe it's just a soul animal that camouflages himself, like yours?"
We both look at the boy that just blocked an attack from the prince of darkness, a small boy juggling with 3 blue orbs.
"Well, this can't happen again. Who knows what could happen next time, and there won't always be a Sam to save the day ... So, I decided to give you private mana and weaponry lessons.", he says, piercing his eyes through mine again. "Ufcorse you won't have these lessons on your own, that would be a little too boring and you'll need a sparring partner, so I'll ask some of your fellow students to join us. You will start tomorrow, so try to get some rest."
Chaeron goes away, leaving me alone with Sam and my thoughts. It happened again! How am I supposed to ever protect anyone if I'm a ticking timebomb that could blow up any moment? I'm a threat for everyone that's close to me. Maybe it's better not to have anyone near ...
"That's a stupid thought and you know it." I see Sam standing in front of me with a strict look on his face. "You're dangerous, yes, but not because you're powerfull or because you have evil blood running through your veins. You're dangerous because you can't control it."
"Is it even possible to control it? You don't know how it feels when it takes you over ... "
"Not like you, no. But do you think you're the only one with dark forces in his soul?"
