Hello, everyone. This is just a small project I'm working and won't be very long at all(Second chapter is probably the last). This was originally going to be a one-shot but it was getting too long. I apologise in advance because some of this might seem a bit sloppy. Enjoy.

“Sir? Is everything okay?” Cadet Strongarm asked.

Bumblebee looked over as the teenage police bot approached him. He sighed and looked back out towards the water.

“I just… miss them.” He muttered.

“Miss who sir?”

Bumblebee's mouth twisted into a frown.

“Raf and Mae…” he whispered

Strongarm frowned as she watched Bumblebee look sadly at his peds. The yellow autobot sighed and gave her a half hearted smile before transforming and leaving.  Strongarm looked after him then soon followed.

“Are we... really moving here, Mae?” Thirteen year old Rafael Esquivel asked his sister.

The now fifteen year old girl gave a gentle smile to her brother. She ruffled his hair, causing the boy to whine in distress.

“Why? You don't like Crown City?” Mae asked.

Raf looked down.

“It's just… what about Jack and Miko?”

Mae’s eyes softened before she pulled Raf into a hug.

“I'm going to miss them too Raf, but Miko's returning to Japan and Jack's busy with college preparation with Mrs. Darby. It's time for us to move on...” she said.

Raf bit his lip and nodded, looking down in sorrow. He missed his two friends. They were the only ones, besides his sister, who he could talk about the bots with. Raf wordlessly kicked a pebble, pulling his suitcase close. Mae rested her hand on his shoulder and rubbed it faintly. She then began to lead him off towards their destination.

An hour later, the two siblings approached their new home. It was a small red house with a wooden porch next to the woods.

“This...is nice..” Raf said reluctantly.

Mae chuckled as she unlocked the door. “I know it's not much...but it's just us two. There's a scrap yard near here and neighborhood kids play football.”

Raf frowned. “You know how I am Mae-Mae. Kids don't...like me because I'm smarter than most of them and not very...athletic.”

Mae sighed and kissed his head.

“I know. Just...try for me?” she asked softly.

Raf looked up at her and nodded, smiling faintly. He walked inside. He placed his bags down and began to unpack. Mae smiled warmly before she went over and hugged him. Raf paused for a moment and returned her hug.

“Thanks Raf…” she whispered, burying her face in his spiky brown hair.

The younger remained still as his sister hugged him. Inwardly, he berated himself for being insensitive towards Mae. He knew she was hurting as well. He could see how much she missed the bots and their friends. Mae was close with Bumblebee and the others. Raf remembered hearing her cry in the night, the girl missing the only friends she had come to gain and trust. Raf closed his eyes and sunk deeper into the embrace before Mae soon let go. She gave him a smile.

“I'm going to check out the scrap yard for some things. Stay here and unpack, okay?” she said.

Raf nodded.
