"She seems nice," Casey said before we would have to split. Her next class was with "Gerner" in the west wing and mine was with "Livston" in the North wing.
"Yeah," I responded. I really hope she's not one of those teachers that is nice the first day, then gets meaner and nastier everyday. "Well, I'll see you later then."
"Def." Casey said as we walked father apart.
When I got to math with "Livston" I found that she was also a women in her late twenties, but not yet married. She was really pretty though, so I figure that she has some sort of relationship. She told us all we were going to learn that year. For instance, how to find an answer to a word problem algerbraically in no time at all and how to plot quardinates in our head easily. I was happy because there was one girl that I knew so I sat with her. Her name was Madison Grey. She was really nice and told me about how her brother was starting here this year. He lived in California with her dad, but was getting into some trouble with his ex, so he decided to get a start fresh here. He seemed pretty cool, from what she told me about him. She said his name was Jason, and even though he wasn't the best student, his heart was in art. He was taking AP Art and Science this year. She would have kept on going, but the bell rang so we said our goodbyes and left to our next class. This period I have AP Art, and I'm kind of excited considering Art is a great stress reliever for me. I was a llitle late and since most of the seats were taken, I took the only one open next to a boy I have never seen in my life. He was handsome with jet black hair and almost clear blue eyes. Yet, before I could introduce myself the teacher started speaking.
"Hello, my name is Mr. Cleinston and I will be your Art teacher for the rest of the year. I have always had a passion for Art and seeing this is the only AP class that I teach, I figure that it is your passion too. I hope we have a great time expressing ourselves with eachother. So, lets start with attendence," he said with a nice smile. He was handsome, probably in his late thirtie's and wore a wedding band which means that he was married.
"Okay lets see, who do we have here," he started "Lets start with Miss Adrian Mosby."
"Here!" a hand shot right in the air, almost to excited.
"How about Mr. Josh Doyle."
"Here." A boy said with a cute smirk on his face.
It went on like this until I heard the name Jason Grey. I wondered who he was.
"Here," said the boy next to me. I was shocked. He was so..so....gorgeous. That was Madison's brother? Actually, now that Iook at it, they do have a slight resemblace.
"Jenifer Stevens," the teacher said. Wow, and look at his eyes, they're so blue you could mistake them for the ocean and-
"Jenifer Stevens?"
"Oh, here!" I said raising my hand with realization that he was calling my name. Jason looked my way and quietly laughed in a boyish cute sense. After that, Mr. Cleinston gave us the rest of the period to sketch. Jason started to write something on his sketch book but I couldn't fully read it from my position. Yet, when he was done, he tapped my shoulder with a smile and showed me his sketch. It was writen wonderfully and read, "Hey, my name is Jason." He smiled at me. Then I wrote in my best writting, "You already know my name" I smiled. He laughed. Everyone was talking so it didn't matter if we did.
"So, I'm new," he said to me starting conversation.
"Yeah I know, I had last period with your sister Madison and she told me about you."
"Oh, that's cool, So what do you think?" he said smiling.
"About what?" I said smiling in confusion.
"Me," he said answering me. I was left with no words. I couldn't tell him that he was ridiculously hot, I have a boyfriend, could I?
"Well, for starters I think your pretty cool, good looking and me having been here for my whole life, that will take you pretty far," I said slightly blushing.
"That's good to know, but know I have another question," he said blushing slightly.
"What? " I said responce.
" My coolness and good looks..will it take me far with you?" he asked blushing.
I felt my face getting warm. He liked me? Well, yes or he wouldn't have said that. Yet, I have nothing to say. I wasn't sure. I have a boyfriend, but I have lost feeling for him, not all of them, but a lot of them. I still love him, but I'm not sure I love him like I used to. For months now, I haven't felt any sparks; I haven't felt any fireworks. But I have ignored it all till now. But with this boy now, Jason, could I ignore it any longer? I realized I haden't spoken in over a minute. Talk about awkward. And instead of him saying something, he just looked into my eyes searching for clues of what I might say next.
Finally I say, " I don't know, maybe, " with a smile. Hoping that will be enough. It was and he laughed.
"Good," he said. "Can I have your number?"
"S-sure," I say handing him a piece of paper that reads, "973-309-2170." We talked casually until the bell rang.
"Haha," laughing at what I just said, "um, so I'll text you later,"
"Cool," I say. I just made a new friend, I think to myself walking away. I hope it stays that way. I don't want boy drama. Yet, in the back of my mind, I think "Do I want it to stay that way?"
