The long, empty, twisting road home seemed to stretch into eternity; it continued on and on, the streetlamps appearing every so often, casting evil, lurking shadows into the abyss surrounding, and shining in her eyes, annoying her.

Zoe Clarkson sat, unmoving, in the back of the car, curled up in a ball and propped against the cool window. She was practically boiling with hatred towards her mother. They had only just left the house and were on their way to Zoe's school. "Nothing ever changes", she thought. It was always the same depressing, cold, dreary morning, someone having to wake up earlier than usual, fighting over who would get the last bit of cream for their coffee, why Zoe had to clean the house when she got home from another monotone school day, and who would have to deal with dad that afternoon, and so on.

So, considering everything, it seemed like an average, normal day. Zoe's anger towards her mother was slowly wearing off. "Good," she thought to herself. Even though she can get extremely angry and annoyed at her mother at times, the truth was they really needed each other to survive. She had just remembered to buckle her seat belt, as her mother had always told her. She did not realize that her mother was not wearing hers. Zoe turned her head just as she heard the honking of car horns, her mom yelling at her, and the flash of lights before she blacked out.

This is Only the first part but type #Zoe if you liked it and want to see the rest, if you don't I won't put the rest up.
