I petted my baby blue dolphin, Paie. I had found Paie when she was a calf, her pod dead. I cared for the dolphin until it was strong. Then, of course, I let it go into the wild but Paie never forgot me and she came back with two other bottle-nosed dolphins, named Oke and Moana. The dolphins helped grow my dolphin research. Paie butted me out of my thoughts, telling me she wanted to play. I smiled, pulled on me diving gear, and jumped in the water. The warm turquoise water greeted me and I happily shot up to the surface. I watched Paie rise on her tail then move backward through the water. I laughed calling to my brother, Mano to throw me a ball. It came down with a big splash. I got the ball and passed it to Paie, we played like this for a few more minutes. I went back on board the ship, smiling at my brothers. Anyone could tell we were related. Bane and Mano were tanned just like me. They were just above average height and stocky built. The had pitch black hair just like me. Mano had brown eyes while Bane had black. I knew some girls would be lucky to have them. Bane handed me a towel. "Mahalo," I said, drying myself. I looked over at Paie and her friends. I smiled looking at the graceful dolphins. My cell phone rang. The caller ID said Jese Matthews, my boyfriend. I had to wonder why he was calling, he was just in the water. Unless he was in danger!
