Once upon a time, there was a princess. She was a naive, innocent and cheerful girl.
Even though she was clumsy and quite troublesome, everyone loved her. It is because of her personality that is like a bright light. A light they follow and respect.
However, an unfortunate accident changed everything.
On the princess's 7th birthday, her mother died.
Everyone was shocked, especially the members of the royal family.
Her father, who was once a happy man, turned into a strict and cold king. Her brother became a mean person, he became someone who looked down on people.
The young princess however, was still happy. Thanks to the happiness she kept sharing with them, the people looked up to her as a role model.
But, every time she's alone, she cries. Her tears hidden from others, except for her dear brother.
The light she had was slowly dimming every day.
The king remarried and the royal family happily accepted the king's new wife. She was a very beautiful woman.
But some flowers have thorns, right?
She acted nice around others but when she's alone with the princess, the new queen always scolded the poor little girl.
She didn't tell anyone because she knew that they won't believe someone like her. She was just a young girl.
One day, she saw the queen go inside their father's quarters so she followed her.
The queen pulled out a vial and the princess widened her eyes when she saw the label. A skull with two bones creating an x mark.
The king was sleeping on the bed and the queen slowly opened the king's mouth. She made him drink the vial and the king's mouth was soon filled with foam.
The queen smiled and the princess fell down. She covered her mouth to suppress the cries that were forcing themselves out of her mouth.
She stood up and ran away.
The queen noticed the princess there and a scowl was present on her face "I must eliminate that girl"
A light bulb lit up inside her head and she exited the room. She had the perfect plan.
A few weeks later after the king's funeral, the princess was in her room when the door burst open.
His brother stood there, panting.
He sat down and explained everything.
"I...I'm getting married?" the princess asked nervously.
"You don't know?" her brother asked, a worried expression present on his face.
He clenched his fists as realization dawned on him.
'It's that woman's fault'
He left the room hurriedly and the tears dropped on the princess' hands.
"Hasn't she done enough?!" she shouted
She shakily packed her things as her butler entered the room.
"Your highness, where are you going?" the butler asked her nervously.
She forced a smile and the butler widened his eyes when he looked into her red orbs.
He saw nothing. Not even a hint of sadness was present inside them.
The butler clenched his fists and held the princess' shoulder.
"I will come with you, Princess"
The princess hugged him tightly and he hugged her back "Thank you..."
The two escaped the palace and travelled to a place where no one they knew would be there.
They lived peacefully and until now, the queen and her brother still haven't found them.
That's because the princess' tale is still not done.
'Do you want to know the ending?' a girl asks with a smile.
She held out her hand and cocked her head to the side.
''Let's find out together!'
