Alone isn't a feeling you want to feel, because it shows a sign of abandonment.

When you feel low and worthless, remember the storm comes before the sun, but sometimes you'd hope for the rain to stay, and the sun to never come.

Because the sun that seems to keep you warm and happy, will some day leave and turn you sad and cold.

But everything is bound to get better because the snow can only stay for so long before it melts ....... Right?

They say the only thing in life that's constant is change, and change is something we all do.

Rather it's good, or bad we change our ways from the past.

Some make positive changes, others make negative changes.

But something that'll never change, is the Bad Weather

Prologue

Autumn looked around the park, as he began to approach her. Her heart fluttered from his presence, and her mind raced a mile a minute.

She was anxious to know what was so important that he would have awaken her out of her sleep at 3 in the morning, but for him she was all for it.

They both sat on the bench, not inching out a word as the nightly weather gave the both of them chills.

He was speechless by the sight of her, she wasn't the same 17 year old young and naive girl that he once knew, she was now grown and more mature.

"I guess time does change" he thought to himself as he cleared his throat thinking of the correct words to speak to her.

The nonchalant look on her face saddened him, it was all the confirmation he needed to know that her heart was no longer his.

"You know I loved you" he spoke, looking her in her eyes.

He watched as her eyes lit up from his words, but his heart dropped once they turned back to the way they were before.... Black, and Cold

"Yeah, and I loved you. But love don't mean a damn thing" she spoke calmly as she broke eye contact.

Honestly, she was scared to be in his presence.

She continuously thought about what he would do, or what he would say if he ever seen her again.

She knew that fairy tales never happened where she lived, and nothing was ever sweet, but she was truly terrified.

Events from the last night's they spent together replayed in her head giving her chills all down her body.

"Why you acting like this. You know it was more than just a fling with us" he twisted up his face.

She didn't have the words to say because it was true, they were way more than just a quick fling. More like long time lovers

But then, they were in the hood and nothing was forever or guaranteed not even life.

"Yeah, it was. But it was time for me to move forward and I did, I left the past where it was at in hopes of leaving them there" she looked him in his eyes. She was confused.

She wanted him to hate her for everything she put him through, but if she hated him, she wouldn't have even answered his call, let alone be sitting outside at this time of night.

"Just admit that you love me Autumn. I'm sorry for everything I've done, I miss you" he spoke genuinely.

"Yeah, well that's fine, but I don't miss you, nothing good comes with you, you won't ever make it through the rain because you don't look forward to." She shook her head, standing up from the bench.

"Sometimes it's best to let go, and move on from the past, bad weather is the worst weather, and sometimes you just can't make it through" and with that, she walked away.

She left her past behind her, right at that park.

It was nothing between the two, nothing but history, bad history that took place during the bad weather. The only thing she looked forward to at that moment, was the sun. She knew the rain would always come before the sun, so patiently wait is what she would do.

Bad Weather.
