"I hate"
I hate the way,
My mind shines with self-hatred, like it's the only thing that keeps me sane.

My sadness is addicting, like it's all my mind uses to feel something.
I hate the way,
I welcome the feeling, the sadness, like it's the only thing I know.
I hate the way,
My mind find comfort in the sadness, like it's all the light I have left.
I hate the way,
My mind tends to feel,
like it's trying to push away everything that's real.
I hate the way,
My sadness has ruined everything I built, everything that made me feel real.
I hate knowing this is how I feel, like sadness is where I belong.
