[The Next Morning]

{Mariah's point of view}

As the sound of my alarm clock awoken me from my deep slumber, a soft groan escaped my lips as I began to stretch out my body. Shaking my head, I got out from my bed and straightened it up, satisfied I then walked to my bathroom and started the shower, not to hot yet not to cold, Stripping out of my pajamas, I stepped inside of my shower and began to wash my body and lather my skin with my vanilla scented dove body wash. Rinsing off and repeating my steps a few more times, I turned off my shower, grabbed my towel, and wrapped it around my body. 

Stepping out of my bathroom and walking to my room, I prepared my body by drying off and putting on my favorite lotion. Walking to my dresser, I threw on a pair of my black Victoria Secrets undergarments and grabbed my outfit for the day. Picking out my outfit for the day, which consisted of a beige velvet tank top, light blue skinny jeans, and some chuck white converses. For accessories, I picked out a brown fedora hat, a rose gold watch along with the same color bracelets and my rose gold sun glasses. Fiddling with my hair, I decided to just wear it straightened out. 

As I now stood outside of the coffee shop, a deep sigh escaped my lips as I walked inside and scanned the room, jumping as I heard my name being called across the shop. "Mariah, over here" a voice squealed as I looked towards the direction and observed Diana smiling brightly.  "I'm so happy that you decided to come" Diana beamed as I nodded and looked down fiddling with my nails. making Diana sigh. "Look, if you wish to rather not be here, then we can just leave and pretend this day never happened" Diana stated as I looked at her and raised an eyebrow. "Why would I do that?" I questioned chuckling softly as it was now Diana's turn to look down. 

"Well, I mean I don't know, it's just your not speaking, so I thought you'd rather just leave" Diana shrugged as I let out a small chuckle making Diana raised her eyebrow. "No, that's not it. Just got a lot on my mind ya know" I sighed placing my hand on the table, jumping a bit as Diana placed her hand over mine. "Listen, I know what's going on okay, Lisa told me" Diana mumbled as I snatched my hand away. "Oh so Lisa made this shit up huh. Did you guys plan this out to make my life even more miserable?" I scoffed as Diana quickly shook her head. 

"No, listen I promise you. Once I heard what happened yesterday, I ended our friendship. She told me that you kissed Michael, and of course I didn't believe her, hell she's crazy for crying out loud" Diana chuckled as I crossed my arms, "You know, you shouldn't be talking about your best friend like that" I replied as Diana stopped laughing and rubbed her arms. "Look, I regret that decision I made everyday, I ended our friendship yesterday Mariah I-.." Diana continued to ramble only to stop as a shadow fell from over our heads. "Oh would you look at this, my ex best friend with a tramp. Wow Diana, you really swung low on the friendship line don't ya think" Lisa smirked as I raised an eyebrow and looked at Diana who mumbled a quick "Told you". 

"Well, we both know what this is going to lead to, so I'm going to go before I end up snapping and doing something I regret" I shrugged standing up and making my way past Lisa, Diana hot on my trail. "Mariah" Diana beamed as I kept walking only to bump into a hard figure. "Hey. watch where y-.." I stopped as I looked and witnessed those special eyes. "Mariah.." Michael whispered as I scoffed and rolled my eyes storming past him with once again Diana on my trail. "Hey, wait!" Diana pleaded as we were know outside of the coffee shop. "You okay?" Diana sighed as I took in a deep breath and nodded, controlling my emotional response. 

"I'm fine, I just. I need to get away ya know, from here" I sighed looking at a now smirking Diana. "What the hell are you smirking at?" I asked as Diana squealed and pulled out two tickets from her purse. "Last night when you and I we're talking, I knew you we're still down. And I know you use to always say Hawaii was your dream location, so since you we're down, and since I wanted to rebuild our friendship, once we got off the phone last night, I brought two tickets to Honolulu Hawaii for the both of us" Diana squeaked as I stared at her with wide eyes. 

"Y-you're lying!" I gasped making Diana smirk as she pulled out her phone. "I'm not though, the plane leaves at two. That gives us enough time to pack and head to the airport so, Ms. Nelson, shall we go?" Diana chuckled as I screamed in excitement and tackled her in a tight hug. "YES! Let's go!" yelling in astonishment as Diana chuckled, we both headed inside of our cars and sighed. "Meet me on the plane" Diana stated as I nodded and drove to my house to pack my luggage for the week. 

[Time skip]

As we now sat on the plane, my emotions were flying everywhere. Once the air pilot spoke over the microphone, the plane began to board up in the air, with a soft sigh escaping my lips, I leaned my head against the window and sighed "Goodbye Michael".
