The clouds finally omitted its tears, the heavy rain hitting the warm Seoul city, preceeded by already gloomy sky few hours before. Taemin looked out of the windows of the airport, worrying about his close friend. "Hey, it's time," Minho tapped his shoulder from behind. Taemin just let out a small smile, then pulling out his pair of Air Pods to shut the noisy world from his life. Just for few hours.

Kai will be doing okay, he convinced.

It was already dark back in the city where SM building is located, one was embracing the other drenched in the heavy rain. Aside the loud rain sound, Krystal's whimpers could be heard, though seeking shelter from Kai's broad arms.

Kai muttered a curse under his breath. "Are you fücking crazy?! Do you fûcking think a fùcking suicide is going to help you escape your bullshīt?!" He scolded. Krystal was shaken more under his anger. She cried and cried, burying her head onto his chest.

Kai clicked his tongue, he should have not cursed Krystal away. He then stood up, lifting the shaken lady in his arms. Naturally, Krystal linked her arms around his neck, shutting her eyes close before resting her head on his. "Help me, Jongin," she finally spoke, softly.

Ensuring nobody was watching, he brought her to his room.

Kai rested Krystal on his bed, though her figure all wet from the rain. He instantly switched on the heater in the room, then went to the bathroom to turn on the hot water in the bath tub. He knew Krystal needed this more than anything for now. As he came out, he saw a sight of the latter, sitting on the edge of the bed looking dumbfounded. "The hot bath's ready. Freshen up, Soojung-ah,"

No response. Kai was not satisfied.

He then came up to Krystal, leveling himself to her while looking in her eyes. She only looked down, lifeless. Kai knew she'd remain like that forever if he did not make the move.

He took off her socks gently, not wanting to hurt her. Took off her bracelets and anklets, he then untied her loose ponytail, letting her strands unlock. His fingers ran upon her porcelain skin, thumb shedding faded tears. "Things are going to be okay, Soojung-ah. Okay?"

Coming down to undo her shirt, Kai hesitated. He was never this close to Krystal before. He was an inch or two away from the sight of her bare collarbone. Kai unbuttoned her white shirt, throwing it to the side. He looked up, Krystal was staring at him. Their eyes met, before lowered down towards each other's mouth. Both leaned forward, later latched their lips together. Kai's right hand slithered against Krystal's back, his left stroking her head as she coiled her arms around him. Krystal's cold self slowly warmed up, another tear falling. Kai paused, asking her why did she cry.

"I.. I don't know. I've never felt this-"
"I'll heal you. Don't cry," he hushed, kissing her tear away. They kissed once again, Kai's hands roaming on her back to loosen her bra's hooks. Krystal pulled out the shirt he was wearing, Kai was then left only with his pants on. She didn't pull back and defy as the bra pulled out from her arms, she just let Kai do his job.

He stripped her down, but not in a greedy manner. Rather, soft and subtle, as if she's a fragile piece of china. Krystal was then there, naked and bare. Kai went to his wardrobe and grabbed a clean body towel before wrapping it around her. "I won't force you. You need time, I know," Kai assured before leaving a peck on her forehead. Krystal attentively stared towards the tall lad, still did not speak much. "Take a shower, I'll prepare something for you to eat,"

Krystal monologued as she soaked in the tub. Her world was a mess, she was clueless as if she did not know what to do next. No one was there to listen to her, she thought.

As Jessica and Sulli left, Krystal was left standing on her own. Who else could she turn to and vent out all her problems? Victoria, Luna and Amber were all busy with their solo career. If she could, she would want to leave Korea for the States now. As a matter of fact, it is her choice. To stay or to leave for good. But then, she felt somewhat attached. Attached to what, she did not know. As if something was holding her back without her acknowledgement.

"Feeling better?" her train of thoughts stopped by Kai's voice. She saw Kai, leaning towards one side of the door of the bathroom. By the looks of it, he must've stood there for ages. He was holding a bottle of soju with champagne glasses. Weird combination.

"Weird combo, I know. But it's all I got," as if he could read her mind. With a slight smirk plastered on his face, he stepped forward towards the tub, then grabbed a stool and sat beside it. Putting the drinks aside, Kai sat closer towards Krystal, then stroked her chin with his index finger. He was turned on, honestly. With her bare face and wet hair, along herself in the tub, it was hard for Kai to not feel greedy at this point.

But at the same time- again, Kai knew Krystal needed space.

"Why?" Krystal asked. "Why were you against the chairman about.. us?"

Kai's face changed to a shade of red. He looked away, then having Krystal's wet palm on his jaw, looking back at her again. "Jongin?"

"Because I wanted to protect you. That's why," "What do you mean by that? How am I protected?" she raised her voice a little, knitting her eyebrows together. Kai silenced, not giving her the answer. "Jongin," she stressed, but Kai still hesitated to answer. "Kim Jongin-"

"It's because I loved you! No wait, I love you, and I don't want you to get hurt. Who knows what that old fück has in his rotten mind? I've had enough seeing you suffer from afar, Soojung. With this whole shït, with him, and Jokyung-"

And Krystal pulled him in for a kiss, deepening it few seconds later. Kai's greed came back, demanding to enter Krystal's sweet strawberry. Their tongues waltzed again, before each pulled out for a breath or two. "I love you too, Jongin. And this time, it's not scripted,"

A/N - YAS! It's a short one, I know. But knowing that they broke up already (I was so shut out from the K-world lol *cries*), plus the huuuuuge commitments and assignments (debates, emceeing etc), I lost most of the ideas I had for this book, so might as well end it :(. Thanks for stopping by, and let's give them our full support all the way. Thanks again!
