                    Chapter 1

"So I have to go with you because?"

Jungkook didn't want to go with Taehyung and his friends to the karaoke. He was tired and didn't feel like leaving his bed for the next three months. However, Taehyung insisted that it would be fun and tried to convince him with the reasoning that she would be here. She being Jungkook's crush. She was a beautiful girl named Sheyna and Jungkook had been trying to get her under his spell for weeks but nothing had been working so far. Jungkook never got more than two syllables out of his mouth whenever she was close, furthermore he would turn to a blushing mess.

So, he didn't want her to see him like this. All tired and ugly.

"Because you haven't left this apartment for over three weeks. Now stop complaining and get dressed." Taehyung ordered. His back was facing Jungkook as he searched for a decent outfit. Jungkook wanted to speak back but he knew you couldn't win against Taehyung. His friend had always been persistent and Jungkook never really had a choice other than to agree when Taehyung set his mind to something. To that, he left Taehyung's room and walked to his but the doorbell stopped him.

He wasn't expecting anyone, neither did Taehyung mention anyone but he didn't look further into it and headed to the front door. As he opened it, he revealed the blond boy he hadn't seen in a while.

"Wow, you look awful."

"Hello to you too, Jimin."

Jungkook liked Jimin. The elder was very open and a great listener which Jungkook sometimes needed. Furthermore, Jimin was an amazing wingman. Jimin smiled at him, his finger poking Jungkook's cheek before entering the apartment. He looked around before facing Jungkook. "Are you joining us tonight?" Jimin asked as he moved to the kitchen.

Jungkook glanced at Jimin's behind when the elder walked past him. He wasn't ashamed to admit it or anything because it wouldn't be the first time that he would compliment Jimin's behind. Their entire friends' circle would comment on Jimin's butt and the elder loved it. Yet, he decided to keep quiet on that topic.

"Well. I'm being forced." Jungkook replied as he followed Jimin. The elder laughed, "Poor you. Taehyung can be a pain in the ass." Jimin said as he sat down, his chin resting on his palm as he looked at Jungkook. "But I guess it's better to leave the house from time to time again." He added, his eyes not leaving Jungkook's.

The mentioned boy only groaned, his head falling back. "Not you too." Was all he said as he went to his room, getting ready for the night.

The three boys left the apartment together after half an hour of Jungkook trying to convince them that he wasn't feeling well and that he should stay home, nevertheless, Taehyung only grasped Jungkook's ear and pulled the youngest to the car. Once in the car, Jungkook was slightly panicking. He wasn't ready to see Sheyna again. He didn't know what to talk about, he would embarrass himself. He knew that. It would be like always, her talking and him blushing, only nodding to her stories.

"Just talk about what you both like. It's not that hard." Jimin's soft voice said. The blond man smiled, fondling Jungkook's hair. Surprisingly, Jungkook felt himself calm down. Jimin was right. Talking about the things you enjoy would always start a conversation and perhaps he would feel less anxious when he was discussing something he enjoyed.

Fifteen minutes later, the car stopped in front of the karaoke bar.

Everyone had already arrived, Sheyna included and Jungkook couldn't control the sweat forming on his palms. He should have stayed home. Jungkook wanted to turn around, run and hide in his apartment forever but Jimin's arm around his shoulder stopped him, pulling Jungkook towards him. "Don't you dare to chicken out now. Just be you and it will work out." it wasn't more than a whisper but Jungkook heard it.
