Perrie's POV
I woke up pretty early today but I am fresh and ready to sort my life out.Even over the night I thought about what Beth said.She was right and I knew it since the day she told me that my life is a mess.I am a grown woman now,I'm 24 and I'm ready to take my responsibilties in serious.After doing my morning routine I waited for me mom to leave to the grocery store and i called Alex.
"Hey Pezz,'sup?"
"Hey Alex.How are you?"I asked sitting on the armchair.
"I'm great what about you?Everything alright?"
"Yeah yeah everything alright don't worry.I just need to talk with you about something really important"I said playing with my sweater.
"And what's that?"
"Uhm okay here we go..."I took in a deep breath"We know each other since a long time and we already know everything about each other,you're a good company and I enjoy spending time with you.Neither one of us found someone to be in a relationship with besides one night stands and I was wondering if you maybe...Would you.."
"Wait are you asking me to be your boyfriend?"
"Yes"I breath out."Soo?"
"I mean..yes why not let's do it"He finally said making me squeal"Yayy!See ya in three days,boyfriend!"I said emphasizing the last word.
"Haha then see ya soon,girlfriend!"He said before canceling the call.
I let out a sharp breath.Done now the next step Perrie I thought.
Jade's POV
Ugh I don't wanna go to work anymore.All I want to do is to stay in all day and watch movies,eat crisps,play with Brooklynn...and Oh God I wish I could go to a pub soon cause I haven't been to one in ages.I got out of bed and I dragged myself into the shower.
After I got dressed I heard the doorbell ringing so I rushed to open it thinking that Amy,Brooklynn's babysitter,arrived.
"Amy I thought-"My words faded in my thorat when I lift my head to see the blonde I haven't seen in years standing in front of me.
"H-hey"she eventually said in an awkward tone"What do you want?"I asked rolling my eyes.
"I-we uhmm I think we need to talk"She said stuttering.I thought about letting her in for a few minutes"Okay come in but be as quick as possible cause I have to go to work"I said emotionless.But damn she changed a lot.
"Where is Brooklynn,can I see her?"she asked with big eyes.I was about to say something when Brooks came in the living room but she stopped in her tracks when she noticed Perrie."Doggy!"She said pointing to Perrie.Oh not again.
"Oh my godness I knew it!That's why I felt like that.All this time it was you Brooks"Perrie said,tears dripping down her cheeks"WHAT THE HECK IS HAPPENING?"I found myself yelling.
Perrie told me about what happened yesterday and I'm sorry for Amy but she just got fired.Now that we calmed down a bit and I know everything about the little weird moment earlier,me and Perrie sat on the couch,Brooklynn still staring at Perrie.She is probably confused now.
"Brooks come here!"She opened her arms waiting for Brooklynn to go and hug her but nothing happened.And I'm not surprised.She is only a stranger even though they met yesterday."Come to momma boo"I said opening my arms.Brooklynn slowly aproached me letting me to pick her up and place her on my lap.
"So what do you want to talk about?" I asked playing with my baby's hair."About the past and shits that happened since..then"she said still looking at Brooks."Okay go on I already told you that I don't have much time".She began to talk with me about everything that happened in her life since then like I am her fucking psychologist.
"You missed a lot of Brooklynn's life ya know"I said trying to change the subject about me and Jed."Yeah,I can't believe that that's Brooklynn.She grew so much".I could see in Perrie's eyes how sad she was about Brooklynn rejecting her."Baby don't you wanna hug her?"I asked Brooklynn putting a strand of her hair behind her ear.She softly nodded and I helped her to stand up on the couch.She went closer to Perrie and put her arms around Perrie's neck,hugging her.Immediately Perrie wrapped her arms around Brooks hugging her tight while crying.
"Perrie are you crying?"I asked helping my baby girl to get off the couch"Y-yeah" she said wiping her tears away"Why?"I gave her a few minutes to breath and calm herself down"B-because I missed a lot of Brooks grow up.And now she barely wanted to give me a hug.I feel like I just won the trophy for the worst mother in the world if I can call myself a mom"Oh man what am I supposed to say now?
I cleared my throat"I think is time for you to leave.I'm already ten minutes late now.And I texted Amy to not come today.I need a babysitter as soon as possible"I said looking for solutions."Well what about me?I could babysit Brooks.We'll go out and we'll have fun..."Perrie tried to convince me"I'd rather take her with me"I said rolling my eyes.
"Please Jade she is my child too let me spend some time with her"Oh so now she's your child too but when you were clubbing in LA you forgot that you have a child huh."Ughhh fine!But be careful where you going,here are the keys,dress her up and have fun.Bye princess!"I said kissing Brooklynn's forehead then leaving.
She better take care of my baby girl or else...
