"Is this Beyoncé Knowles?" A lady asked as I answered my phone. I knew it was someone from Stanford but I didn't know why she was calling.
"This is she."
"I'm Amanda, representative from Stanford Medical School. I was calling to let you know that your spot we're holding for you at attending Stanford Medical School is only temporary. We're giving you the opportunity to come back now and graduate on time with your class or we'll have to give up your spot." Amanda said.
"Do I have to give you an answer not or can you give me a few days?" I asked.
"I'll need an answer in about 2 days. Call this number back and ask for Amanda."
"Ok. Thank you."
"No problem, I hope you make the right decision."
What am I going to do? I needed to vent so I called Sanaa and asked her to meet me at a bar. Sanaa was staying with her parents until school started back up so it wouldn't take long for her to meet me. I'm glad she is because Stanford is not close to Los Angeles.
"What happened girl? It must be serious if we at a bar because you don't drink." Sanaa said as she sipped her Margarita.
"I got a call from school. I guess because the new semester is starting soon they want to know if I'll be attending or not. They said if I do I'll be able t graduate with our class."
"Are you?"
"I don't know."
"I respect whatever decision you make. I know how you feel about Jay but I would also love to save lives with my best friend, partner in crime, sister." Sanaa said.
"Why does life have to be so hard?" I groaned.
"Honestly I think you should finish school then maybe y'all can be in a relationship later in life. He isn't just gonna be loyal overnight, it's gonna take time."
"What if he doesn't wait for me?" I asked.
"Trust me, he'll wait. From what Tyran tells me he's head over hills for you."
"I guess you might be right. I'm gonna sleep on it though and tell her my decision tomorrow."
"Make the right decision Beyoncé." Sanaa said.

I was supposed to update sooner but I changed the original chapter 25 to chapter 26 which means I had to write a new chapter 25 😬 if you know what I mean.
Since this chapter was short I'll post chapter 26 about 10 to 30 minutes later.
I also have a basketball game today so wish me luck 🤞🏾
