With A Vengeance: Prologue
Hey guys,
This is my first online story ever so please be kind and give me lots of comments. I know it’s really short but keep in mind that it’s just the prologue the other chapters will be longer I promise

If yesterday is the past then why does it still haunt me in my dreams.
The fire...
...The smoke...
The everlasting screams of pain as the building burned around me
And above all...
Sam.
His form disappearing through the blinding yellow haze as he ran to get help. Help to move the supporting beam from my crushed legs that lay beneath. It took some convincing before he finally left, Sam being the stubborn man that he is, but, I’m glad he’s gone. I know I won’t make it and there is no way I will sacrifice Sam’s life for mine. We couldn’t let him win.
I wouldn’t let him win...Dylan was not going to take more lives in this fire than he already had and especially not my Sam’s.
As my eyes slowly closed, maybe for the last time, there was one thing I knew, one thing of which I was certain. This building was coming down.
