Overtaken

Chapter 4

The monsters were gone from the house so I walked back in just to find Conner in the living room. He had a gun in his hand. I ran into the kitchen and tried to call the cops but he had cut the line. I was terrified of what he was going to do to me. I heard gunshots being fired and I heard the monsters  again. He was firing off more shots and one hit me in the leg. The monsters were coming right for me and I knew this was the end for me... but then a completely white spirit erupted from the ground and killed all the other spirits. Connor was running away from me. While he was running he dropped the gun and I limped over and picked up the gun.

I chased after Conner the best I could since I had a bullet in my leg. I went to his house and surprisingly enough he was right there ready to kill me... but I was quicker and fired but the gun was empty. I was going to die, I knew I was going to right here right now. A gun fired. I covered my face... but I wasn't the one who got shot. There was a hole in Conner's head. Conner fell to the floor, and when he did, my dad was behind him with a pistol. He had saved my life for the second time...
