A New Life!

Work time!

I knew once I approached the driveway to the school that this was going to be a mess. I get out of the car and walk awkwardly to the front entrance.

"Hallo Francesca!" said Jesse.

"Uh hallo?" I said nervously. I went inside and approached the front desk asking where my class was. The lady at the front desk looked at me funny.

"Darling, I know you've been out for a while but I didn't think you would have forgotten everything. Hahaha. Here are your keys hun and your room in number seven."

"Thank you so much!"

I find class room seven! Aha here it is. I unlock and open the door slowly. I walk inside and look at the dry erase board in front on me. So I'm a eighth grade health teacher. Wow this is so cool I think to myself as I walk over to the desk. I see the pictures of me and Richard. Wow so we've been together for a while.

*Knock Knock*

I alertly look over to the door placing the picture back down on the desk. I open the door to a six foot three well built man with the face of who reminded me of Kevin McNamara.

"Hi!" I say

" Hi! how have you been. I see your time off has changed you..."

"What are you talking about? I don't even know you."

"That's exactly what I'm talking about! How can you not know me baby. Remember me. Your secret lover. Jesse!"

" I'm sorry. Jesse. But no I don't remember you at all so I have to ask you to leave now." I said as I shut the door on him.

*Ring* goes the bell. Startling me out of my daze. I can hear the stampede of kids running down the halls, lockers opening and slamming shut. Jeez that was me running down those halls just last month if you think about it. Now I'm here. A mother of two and married for crying out loud. As the children enter my class they all greet me with cards saying how much they missed me and couldn't wait for me to return back to school.

I had the kids walk me through the criteria of what usually goes on at school. I think I have the hang of things. As long as Jesse leaves me alone I shall be fine.

*ring* there goes the bell altering the kids it's now time to leave. As I make small chat with some of the students I notice something out of the corner of my eye.

"Jeez Jesse didn't I tell you to leave me alone!" I say as I walk over to him.

"I'm sorry! But you know I love you. You know that right?"

" I can't possibly know that. I don't even know you."

" Jeez you must have hit your head pretty hard the last time we were together. Haha!"

"Ugh you're a pig!" I said as I smile at him. He smiled back.

" I think I like you now. You're not so much of an annoying pest anymore. And I've only been back one day."

"Haha. Lets jog your memory over a coffee. Shall we?"

"Eh why not!"
