Waking up, I left my room heading down the hallway, only to have disastrous break fist with my dad. After yesterday I fell asleep thinking of only one thing, and that was our argument. I hated that all I ever did with him was argue, and get myself in trouble. I bet my dad was regretting ever falling  in love with my mom. Because I was what came out of it. That's how he found out what she was in the first place. I just wish that she could have lived instead of gotten herself killed, cause all I ever want is her, to tell me all of what i'm doing wrong. She's was my mom after all . Pushing my thoughts to the back of my head I looked around the downstairs, but my dad wasn't there anymore. "Dad?" I called, but received no answer. Getting worried after a while of looking I decided to search the upstairs. "Dad?, are you in your room, dad you should be awake by now, your the one who made those rules!" yes I had parents just as strict as anyone's. But I think he was worse, I mean our wake up time was at 6:00 AM I mean come on that early, really. Anyway desperate to find him, I walked into his room but found that his room was the same as the day before. Instantly knowing something was wrong I ran back downstairs and out the door to find my dad. Running as fast as I could I reached the town in minutes. It usually takes about thirty minutes but when I checked my watch I realized it took me about ten. Now you must be wondering why i'm freaking out, but I will explain. You see my dad and I have this thing, like a code that tells us when something's wrong, but our code is a little different, you see if my dad doesn't Write me a note in his room, and leave it on the counter when he's gone, it means he's in trouble. We made that code a long time ago and we've stuck with it ever since. I walked up to a random stranger that knew my dad, well everyone knows my dad because unlike me, he's a pretty popular guy in this place. "Hi sir, I was wondering if you've seen my father around this time at all?" I Know I thinking the same thing, But I have my reasons because I thought I was the only person in this place, besides my father, who gets up this early. "No mam, I have not. I was wondering the same thing because we usually meet up around this time a day to get a coffee." He replied with an unlikable answer. "Damn it" i swore under my breath but he must have  he mumbled something about 'watching the language.' Walking down the street away from the man i ran into somebody "Oh my god im so sorry!" I blushed embarrassed by my mistake. "No, no it all fine" Said the boy, that was until he looked up though. "What!?" He screamed. "Lily what the hell was that for?" I looked at him, and what do ya know, it was the waiter from yesterday. "Ugh, what the? You getting angry at me, you got me in trouble yesterday." I screamed at him. He looked down, thinking. "Look, its not always that you see some girl that nobody likes in your work place." He said calmly. I looked down ashamed from my actions. "I'm sorry" I wish i could understand what it was like for these people to see me everywhere, i was truly pathetic. "Don't be" I Looked up, and he smiled at me. It was quite surprising because the only person ever to smile at me was my dad and it rarely happened. "Thanks" I said relaxed and smiled back. But what if I was trusting my instincts to quickly. Then what? " Wanna get a coffee or something?" He asked, interrupting me from my thoughts. I looked at him bewildered. "Or we don't have to, sorry for asking" He said quietly and rubbed his neck. "No, no i will, it's just, well nobody's ever wanted me to go somewhere with them." I remembered the time that someone asked me that and i ended up getting beat up. I had came home with a black eye and my dad screamed at me. I know hes only trieng to help me but I wish he didn't have to be so tough on me. "well we would obviously sit at separate tables." He joked. "Good enough for me!" I joked back. Then i started to wonder why i was here in the first place and remembered my dad. I looked down and instantly felt as guilty as anyone could. "Whats wrong?" He asked. But i didn't answer because in that swift moment, my dad came walking out of the forest, torn up and beaten down. "Dad" i screamed but he fell to the floor and his eyes closed. Probably never to open again, but maybe if i'm lucky they will.
