"Bye mom,'' I yelled out the door as I went to the bus stop. It was my second school in the past two years. I can't really have friends with all the moving we do, but my mom said this should be the last time we move for awhile, but knowing my dad's work we could move at anytime.
My parents moved us to a cute little town in Tennessee. The few days that I have been here, I have discovered that there is not much to do unless you go a few city's over. We do not live that far from Nashville either, maybe forty five minutes to an hour.
Walking to the bus stop, I see groups of friends talking with each other. Some on their phones ignoring everyone until their friends get on the bus. I do what they do and pull out my headphones and listen to my music. It's not that I'm trying to ignore others, I just don't know anyone.
Getting on the bus most of the seats were taken up by others. I was lucky to find a seat near the back of the bus that had no one in it. Just a few people around it.
I feel a small tap on my shoulder making me turn to face a petite blond behind me. She introduces herself and I do the same back to her. I learned that her name is Claire. I also learned that she has two friends named Tom and Stella.
The way she talks about Tom, it seems like she likes him. She goes on and on about him and how she's sweet to her. I wish that I that my father's work would let him stay in one place long enough that I could talk about someone like that. Not all wishes come true though.
As the bus stopped at more stops it got louder and more crowded. So I moved into the seat with Claire so we wouldn't have to lean over the seats and so someone else could have the seat. She's really nice and I hope that we can become friends rather than acquaintances.
The bus finally pulled into the parking lot of the school. I got off with Claire and we went to the office to get my schedule. Once I got to the office' I asked the office worker for my schedule and Claire helped me find and open my locker. She quickly scans my paper before handing me it back and I look over it before placing a few things in my locker to make it more mine.
I look over my paper one more time before hanging it up with a cute little black and white circle magnet next to a picture of my parents and I. I figured that since I would be coming back I could look it over before going to each class. Also taking a picture of it just in case I loose it at some point.

"We have homeroom and art together. You also have math with Stella and with Tom you have science and language." So I have no one for government and health science. Dang. That is okay, hopefully I'll make more friends.
Claire grabs my hand and drags me to her locker. Well what I'm guessing is her locker. Because Claire claimed She was hungry, we stop at the vending machine before heading to overtime where two people are waving at Claire.
"That's Stella and Tom," she points them out as she says their names. "They are very nice, you have nothing to worry about with them." She walks over and sits in one of the free seats which so happened to be by Tom. I soon follow her and sit beside the dark headed girl, Stella. Who I soon become great friends with.
As Claire starts talking to Tom, Stella and I strike up our own conversation. She is very easy to talk to and is going to make a good friend. I know this school is going to be better than the others.
