I make myself comfortable as I sat down in front of my friend, Susan Yuei. She was one of my closest friends and I really appreciated her. After all, she usually listen to me complain about life, so why not appreciate someone like that?
Being a thirteen years old girl, Susan is a bit taller than me. She owns a dark pair of brown eyes, just like most Asians does. Her small button nose fits perfectly with her soft feature.
I sighed once I realized that she was talking to our other close friends, Abby Rose. I don't mind, really, but seeing her talks to someone else makes me feel like she will leave me..
just like most of my friends had.Feeling awkward and a little big lonely, I stands back up to walk to my own table, pull out my notebook and sat back down in front of Susan. Like always, I began to doodle with my her pencil, feeling myself starting to stray away from reality.
Why does no one likes me? What have I done wrong? Am I just a garbage to be thrown away? Or is it because I am a pushover? Maybe I am being too sensitive, but I felt really hurt. What should I do?
"Oh, hey Wendy." Susan greeted, smiling brightly to me.
"Uh.." I blinked, finally aware that she was talking to me, "Hi..is something wrong?"
"Hmm? What are you talking about?" She asks.
"Nothing..so how's life? Are you a couple yet?" I felt the corner of my mouth lift up. I was referring to her crush on one of her father's worker, Todd Washington.
Todd Washington is an 18 years old guy who was only recruited recently. He apparently only graduated high school, but because of the fact that his father is friends with Susan's father, he was accepted.
She blushed, "Umm..life is fine. And seriously? We don't even talk to each other, how can things go by so fast? Sheesh, Wendy."
"Ah, but you said that you two are best friends.."
"That's what he said, idiot."
Idiot..
I grinned, "See..you two did talk. I can't wait until you become a couple."
"Hmm..we'll see." She frowned, but I could see that she was happy based on her smiling eyes.
Suddenly, I felt the usual throbbing pain. Then, the nausea. I bite my lower lips to stop myself from screaming. Screaming for help and from the pain. I wanted to cry but as soon as my eyes glisten, all of the pain and nausea are gone. Like magic.
"You okay?" Abby asks, finally looking up from her usual writing.
I smiled, "Better than ever."
"If you say so. Anyways, where are Mr. Vlik? He's supposed to be here. It's his subject after all." Abby frowned.
She was talking to Susan, I figured because her eyes kept looking back at her than to me. I understand that. She and I weren't that much of a close friend. She might not even consider me as a close friend since we rarely talk. But I was different. I consider her my close friend.
"I don't know. Let's hope he is absent for today." Susan sighed wistfully.
"Yeah.." I butted in.
