It was him. The guy I was intrigued by at the cafeteria. The hot guy. He was here.  In my class...
Wait what? He was in this class? Since when?

Apparently since now if the white slip in his right hand, stretched out towards the teacher was any indication.

Mr Bright,  the chemistry teacher seemed rather surprised just like I was. I guess there must have been an anomaly with his time table. Figures.
The hot guy seemed to want to get it over with and just take a seat. Definitely not a spotlight kinda guy. He rocked from one foot to the other whilst clutching his school bag in a death grip. He was a total ball of nerves. That much was obvious and only confirmed my evaluation of him when I saw him in the cafeteria. He was really shy.

I had this habit of staring really hard at people whom I found intriguing or interesting at the very least and dissecting them with my unwavering gaze, just trying to figure out what's underneath the front.

Yeah, the front.

Most people if not everyone puts up a front. What you see isn't always-scratch that-it's never what you get when it comes to people. They're like onions and you just have to peel back layers after layers only to discover more layers until there's nothing concrete to discover.

Anyway, I did that to just have a skeletal frame of their personality's true form and it helped when I had to interact with them. Knowing just how much jokes to crack or how much sarcasm to lace my words with.  I prefer to keep my face in it's natural form. Thank you very much.

Mr Bright must have noticed his nervous energy. So, instead of asking the cute guy to introduce himself to the class, he simply told him to grab the only vacant seat in class... Right beside me.

YES!

I did an internal fist pump in victory. This was my chance to get to peel away his layers. I wasn't crazy or anything. Like I mentioned earlier,  I liked to get behind the walls people put up. Especially the ones I found intriguing.

And this guy...

He was an enigma.

Yay! Who else is burning up with an intense anticipation to finally have them both speak to each other for the first time?

Well I am. Can't wait to peel away his layers haha.

Sorry for the late update. Writer's block is really beating me up and I kinda mentioned before that I really don't have a skeletal frame for this story. I'm just going with the flow. I'd also appreciate your comments to get a feel of your take on the story so far. Thanks so much people!
