"Stop"
Our eyes locked as a tear slipped down her cheek.
"Stop? What do you mean May?" My heart pumped to the beating of my sweat..
"Stop... lets stop this, Edward.." another tear fell from her cheek as she bowed her head..
"May.." tears flooded in my eyes, blurring my vision..
"Why?.. we can sort this out May.. please..love.." I reached out for her hands and held them tight.
I watched as she bit her lip to stop more tears from falling..
My heart ached as I looked at her.. her precious face..
..the face of the one I love.
"Please May, please give us another chance.. I love you please don't go.. I need you.. with me."
She remained silent
I took my hand to her cheek to wipe away the tears as my other I kept, holding her hand..

She looked up as she sniffed..
After wiping away the tears, I left my hand on her cheek and caressed it..
"Love..please.." I pleaded one last time.
Suddenly she let go of my hand and shifted her face out of my touch..
"I'm sorry Edward, patawarin mo ako.. I'm doing this for the both of us.."
"But.."
"Edward, we've tried so many times.. but look at us now.. this has happened too many times, and no matter how much I want us to be together.. I..I can't have this happen again and again and again.." she spoke softly in between sobs.
I listened to her, despite the pain.
"Kasi hindi ko alam ano mangyayari sa akin kung mawawala ka sa akin ulit.."
The both of us tried to fight back the tears.. but it was no use..
"So what are we going to do?" My voice cracked..
"We need a break.. this is the best for the both of us" She stuttered..
"May, no.." I wrapped my arms around her holding her as tight as I can.. the sweet scent soothed the fast pace of my heart.. but not enough to calm me down..
