I've known you for so long
I've loved you for so long
But you've never noticed because you like her... you want her

It's like I'm slowly dying and you're my life support
I need you but you're slowly slipping away from my grasp
You go after her and we stop talking

For long periods of time we can't break the silence, but each time I try
I feel like if I never start the conversation we would never have it
Therefore you can survive without me
But without you I'm nothing...no-one...

I can't keep living this way
But you're the only reason I'm living
Because I want to keep you safe
I want to see you happy
And I know deep down you don't need me and you've made it clear I'm the past
