You stretched out, bringing your arms out and spreading your legs in front of you. You created a wider space for you, a sleepy Taehyung hummed a bit and rolled over, inching closer to the edge. "Oh shit" You cursed and quickly tried to pull him back but your weight added to his and both of you fell with a thud. He groaned and slowly rose up.

"What are you doing?" His deep husky voice linger in your ears, he groaned and laid on his back. Taehyung's tired eyes remained on you, half-hooded bloodshot eyes with his long lashes fanning over it. Jungkook, who was already sleeping on the floor, woke up from the commotion. He turned over to face Tae and yawned out "What's going on?". Your best friend reached out to the youngest and affectionately patting his head. Jungkook slowly rose up and yawned, covering his nose not his mouth, Taehyung and you smiled slightly with this cute habit of his.

"I'm gonna go take a shower and get breakfast." You announced, slowly standing up and taking off the cotton blanket wrapped around your legs when you fell. You reached under your pillow for your phone, the temperature was surprisingly high. Unlocking the screen, you first checked the time then your notifications.

Your heart pound in sadness, a sense of longing sent you a shiver down your spine. Although you wanted to answer all his texts, you painfully locked the screen and threw your phone on your bed. It hits the mattress and you head to the bathroom, brushing off the boy that makes your heart beat faster just like in the past few days.

9:54 am

"Guys! It was Jin's shift, he said hi and already prepared breakfast for us. He's heading here after a bit." You yelled out when you opened your front door then closing it with a bang. Five brown paper bags filled with delicious breakfast set on your marble kitchen counter as well as the keys. You threw your shoes somewhere beside the front door and head your way to your bedroom expecting two sleepy guys cuddling with each other, which you've seen on multiple occasions. But rather than that sight, a surprise hit you when you saw both of your friends staring sadly on your phone. Your eyes turning into slits as you try to assess the situation but when your friends' gazes look up to you, you started talking "What are you doing with my phone?". A few quiet moments lingered until Jungkook spoke: "You've been ignoring Yoongi?". You gulped then bit your bottom lip, a sick feeling in your stomach build up. There was no denying that you felt nervous, not only nervous but scared. You don't exactly understand why and how you're scared but you just are. It was true and it was killing you inside but because of mixed feelings about the situation - you honestly just don't know how to respond.

After a minute of thought, you slowly nodded, swallowing as your blood felt cold. Your fingertips found their way on the hem of your messy sweater, fidgeting and avoiding their eyes. Their gaze was boring onto you, this was the first time you felt not safe in their presence for years. A heavy weight fell upon your shoulders and discomfort was crystal clear to them. Your eyes are glued to the floor and your socks, you unconsciously twiddled your feet with each other. The sound of someone rising up was heard, you didn't dare look up to see who it was. Two sets of feet settled in front of you, you know it's Taehyung's without even thinking that much. He just stood in front of you in silence until you could hear a dialling tone in Messenger.

"Hello Y/N...?" Yoongi's desperate voice was on speaker and your head snapped up in shock. You were surprised, even Jungkook's eyes widen in the background but he decided not to move.

"Hello Yoongi? This is Taehyung." Your best friend greeted in a husky voice, his tone deep and serious. Your fingertips grew colder but you didn't interfere, curious about how the scene will unravel. Letting out a shaky breath, you just continued to watch Taehyung. "Oh.-" Yoongi's emotion didn't show but knowing him, you knew he was slightly disappointed. "Hi Taehyung, where's Y/N?" Yoongi asked and Taehyung suddenly blurted out "Has Y/N been avoiding you?". A few long moments of silence went on, the anticipation was killing you until he confirmed it "Yes.". Taehyung looked straight at you in the eye, his face unreadable "She hasn't answered your texts?". The man on the other side of the call replied "Yeah. She hasn't even seen any of my texts.". Jungkook soon raised up and placed a steady hand on Taehyung's shoulder and leaned in, intrigued by the conversation.

"I'm...worried about her. I don't know what's going on. She hasn't answered any of my calls and texts. I was starting to think I was too pushy but this is very unusual for her. I probably got used to having her talk with me always but..." Yoongi stopped there. You were taken back by his response. He seemed apprehensive by the way he opened up all of a sudden. His voice usually velvety and rough was a bit high pitched in worry, you could feel him being genuine. The pit of your stomach started to be filled with butterflies and your heart beating a bit faster. Hearing him being like this was fresh to you.

When your small high by his feelings showing, he came back with something else, confusing you a bit with the sudden change "Please tell Y/N that I just said hi. I don't know what's wrong but I want her to talk to me, please tell her that.". He said that with a matching serious tone with Taehyung. You could imagine his walls building up, he's starting to close again.

"Hold on Yoongi. I want to talk to you." Taehyung said, professional and emotionless.

Yoongi hummed with uninterest "What is it?"

"It's about Y/N, and I think I know why she's being like this."

Biting your lip, curiosity and nervousness took over you. You just remained silent.

Taehyung continued on, looking at the wall on your right as he talked. "Well as her best friend for years, I can't help but to be jealous of you and how Y/N is spending so much time with you. Me and Y/N got into a small fight a few days ago but we eventually fixed it. I'm very envious of you on how Y/N is willing to spend hours and hours just chatting with you."

"I told her that you're not the only person who's waiting for her to talk to. She has friends here that have been with her for so long and she's ignoring all of us. I told her about it and it's-" Taehyung got cut off by a raspy sound, a sound that was both familiar and foreign to you.

Min Yoongi's voice was filled with seriousness and a challenging tone that gave you goosebumps, he was challenging Taehyung. In cold sober, he spoke with a chilling intensity that made your heart stop when he spoke-

"Taehyung. Are you in love with Y/N?"
