No Matter What Happens

Chapter 1: Strange Weather

Garnet's POV
~Morning, 8:00 am~
/At the Living Room/
"Hey Garnet, can you help me practice for my training with Pearl? Pearl is out for a mission, and Amethyst is busy at her room." Steven requested.
"Sure. What do you want to practice?" I asked.
"I wanna practice in dodging and blocking." Steven replied.
"Okay. Let's do it outside." I replied.

/At the shore, near Steven's house./
"Ready, Steven?" I asked.
"Ready when you are." He replied.

I charged at Steven without using my full force. I don't want to hurt Steven. My fists and his shield clashed. Then, I quickly threw punches at him. I also didn't used my full speed. He managed to block and dodge all of it. He even dealt some damage to me by throwing his shield towards me.

"Hey Garnet. Could you toughen things a little? It was kinda easy." Steven asked proudly.
"Okay. You asked for it." I replied.

I charged at Steven again, making us clash again. I threw faster punches at him. He managed to block some, and he needed to use his shield in order for him to block my punches. He suffered some punches and wasn't able to throw any damages.

We trained some more and he's kinda tired, but he still wants to train. Steven matured lately.

~After 4 hours of training~

"Hey Steven. Let's have a break." I said.
"Sure thing." He replied.

/At the stairs of Steven's house, sitting/
"Steven, you have good techniques. You've become better. But you have more to improve. Keep it up." I said, as an advice.
"Thanks Garnet. *sips at his Durian juice*" Steven said, while having his juice.

Everything was perfectly fine. But suddenly...

*drip* *drip drip drop drop*
*rains*

"Steven, let's go inside. You might catch a cold." I said, worried.
"Oh, ok. It didn't said in the weather forecast that it's gonna rain." Steven replied.

*opens the door, then opens*
*Garnet and Steven sits at the sofa*
*Amethyst's door sudddenly opens*
"Sup, Steven! Hey, Garnet. Pearl has been out for a mission of her own." Amethyst said as she heads to rhe refrigerator.
"Oh hi, Amethyst! What have you been doing lately?" Steven asked.
"Just the usual, organizing my junk. *Refrigerator door opens*" Amethyst replied.
"When will she come back?" I asked.
"Maybe in 1-2 days?" Amethyst said.

~2 hours later~
It's past 2:00 pm and the rain hasn't stopped. The rain became stronger compared to the rain hours ago. Then Steven will ask if he's allowed to go to Big Donut.

"Garnet, can I go to Big Donut? I'm really hungry and I want chocolate donuts." Steven asked.
"Yes. But be careful." I replied.
"Ok. Thanks Garnet!" Steve cheerfully said as he ran to the door.

*door opens then closes*

Steven's POV
"I'm really really hungry. I'm craving for chocolate donuts! Steven, just wait. You can eat after you buy the donuts. It won't last an hour buying a donut." Steven said to himself.

It was a really rainy day. I was surprised it was raining, but I could feel and see the sky is red. I stared at sky and tried to find the source of the red light. I was amazed that I saw the sun while raining. But, I feel strange. I feel someone is there, but there's nobody. Then, I saw a suspectible shining object in the sky. What is more suspecting is because it is black. Wait! It's a gem! Garnet! I need you to see this!
