Chapter 6 - Natsuko's Childhood Part 2

Everything was fuzzy.

Naruto could see vague human-like shapes, but anything else?

Nope.

There was someone talking.

How irritating.

Naruto strained to hear what they were talking about, but she could only hear snippets of the conversation.

"-truth."

"Them damn villagers-"

"-had to escort to hospital"

Wait.

What?

She was in a hospital?

Naruto sat up abruptly. The Sandaime, seeing her movement, ran over.

"Oh dear! How are you feeling my boy?"

Naruto inwardly winced at the gender assumption, but was more grateful for the familiar, friendly, truthful grandfather figure that was currently standing next to his bed. However, this 'familiar, friendly, truthful grandfather figure' was also one of the bastards who had lied to her about various things considering herself. It was gonna take a very sincere apology to get Naruto to forgive the old man.

"Like crap." Naruto replied shortly.

Sarutobi gave her 'the look'.

"Watch your language child" chastised the Hokage.

Naruto scowled.

"Anyway," continued Sarutobi "I want you to tell me what happened to you. Give me all the details. Ok?"

Naruto reluctantly nodded. He told the old Hokage of meeting a gang of angry villagers in a dark alley and the flight from them. He paused as he reached the part about him being knocked unconscious.

"And then?" Prompted Sarutobi.

Naruto 'thought hard'.

"That is for me to know and you to find out." He replied sassily.

All the hidden ANBU around the room were just like:
"OHHHHHH! Need some ice for that burn Hokage-Sama?"

Hehe just joking~ Author-Sama apologises...(WTF happened to the forth wall?)
The ANBU were just being discrete as per usual.

Sarutobi was shocked at the outrageous behaviour this child was showing. His shock quickly transformed to irritation though.

"Naruto, please just-"

"Nah uh old man." Naruto interjected.

"Now it's MY turn to ask the questions"

The Hokage stared at him, puzzled.

"What do you-"

"Just shut up and listen you bastard" growled Naruto, whom let out a smidge of Kurama's chakra to give the old bastard a fright.

Give him a fright it did as the Sandaime silenced immediately.

"Finally~ some silence" Sighed Naruto.

"Now, onto business. Why didn't you ever tell me of my juinchuuriki status,"

Sarutobi jolted.

"Or about my true gender?"

Sarutobi died.

Or rather, he fell off his chair in shock and landed in a pathetic heap on the ground.

"How do you know about all this?" He demanded, sitting up

"None of your beeswax old man." she answered childishly, sticking her tongue out and pulling her right eyelid down in an attempt to gross him out.

"Seriously though, can you explain it all?"

The Hokage sighed in defeat.

"Fine. The story goes a little bit like this..."

~Time skip~

Naruto, or rather Natsuko walked out of the Hokage's office feeling pretty damn content. The glares from the front desk lady couldn't even dent her happiness.

The Hokage had not only told her that her real name was Natsuko, but also that the Kyuubi had some pretty sick ninja powers that she could borrow, if she decided to be a shinobi that is.

Also...

SHE HAD FAMILY!
Yeah, yeah; she knew her parents were dead, BUT STILL!
She still has a WHOLE sister to do... sister things with.

Anyway enough of that. She was finally approaching the gates to the apartment block where she currently lived.

As the orphanage that she had lived at her whole life had kicked her out earlier that year, she now lived in a shabby, shady apartment in a shabby, shady district of Konoha. Despite that, Natsuko had somewhere to live, and was glad of that. It may be shabby and shady, but it was still her home and had grown on her.

Natsuko stuffed her key into the lock of her front door, jumped in, slammed it shut and locked it. We wouldn't want anything barging in on us and little Natsuko now would we.
(RIP 4th wall 😢)

Natsuko jumped on top on her 'bed' and shifted herself so that she sat in a meditative position. She closed her eyes and drifted off into the deep darkness that was her mind.

Stink? Check.
Dark? Check.
Cage for Kyuu-Chan? Check.
Constant dripping sound? Check.

Yep this was definitely her mind.

"Oi Kurama!" She bellowed out into the darkness.

There was a grunt and the sound of feet shuffling. A giant fox face approached her.

"What do you want, you hyperactive gaki?"

Natsuko puffed up her cheeks in indignation.

"Train me to become a badass shinobi... please." She requested.

"And tell me Master, why should I do that. 

Natsuko smirked, having already figured this bit out.

"Well you know how everyone thinks I'm you right?"

"Yup."

"Well, if I'm a weak little nobody, then all of their respect and fear of you will disappear. You wouldn't want that now would you."

The kitsune scowled, having being defeated and Natsuko grinned in victory.

"So, when do we start?"

"Now"

AN: woah that really took it out of me. I had the whole chapter written up in my note book weeks ago but with school ending, there was no time to transfer it to a device.
