Leaving Forever

BEEEEEEP..... BEEEEEP........ BEEEEP......
I turn to the alarm clock and turn it off. OH NO IM LATE FOR MY FLIGHT. I got up , showered. Then I got my bags. Kissed my Abuela goodbye. And ran off. My mom doesn't know. That's why I had to do everything so fast. She was asleep. So I took that chance and made it. Here is to a new beginning. I'm going to New York! The city of lights , a city that never sleeps. My aunt is actually nice and said I could stay with her.
"Everyone aboard airplane 25573 , this is the last call"
I had my bags. And got into that airplane. I sat down. And put my earphones in. I relaxed. Then the airplane finally was up in the air. This was a 4 hour plane ride. But I was ready to enjoy it. And boy did I enjoy it. The clouds looked so beautiful. I had forgotten about my surroundings. I had been on an airplane once. But that was 5 years ago. Now I feel free. I was enjoying my music when...
"Excuse me ma'm, would you like something to eat?" Said the lady
"Oh yes!" I said. I had totally forgotten I didn't eat breakfast. I'm starving.
"Okay we have coffee and some crackers , is that fine?" The lady said.
"Yes, that's perfect, thank you " I said.
Then I turn to my left and see who is sitting next to me. O.....M....G. There has been a really cute guy sitting next to me for an hour and I didn't realize.
"Here's one coffee and some crackers, enjoy" said that lady. Wow she is so nice. I'm glad. So I went back to the window and ate my little snack.
"Hey, what's your name?" The guy asked that was next to me.
" My names Rosa, what's your name ?" I answered.
" I'm Jay, nice to meet you" Jay said.
"Nice to meet you." I said back.
"So Where are you going ?" Jay asked
"To New York" I said .
"Oh cool, I'm going there to. He said.
Long story short, we talked for a long time , the whole plane ride. This guy is really nice. But he never asked for my number or anything. And I probably won't ever see him again. So I will just forget it. I got off the airplane. In Newark Airport. I saw the whole city from my seat. What a view!
" Hola, tu eres Rosa my niece!" Said Aunt Jolie.
" Yes, it's me!!" I Said super excited.
" Oh, you look so pretty, you grew up so fast." Aunt Jolie said.
"Gracias !" I Said.
So I got in her car, and went off too the house. Now since it was winter break. I had one month before I started college. I wanted to explore all of New York.
My Aunt is really nice. I wonder if she has kids.
She lives in Manhattan , the rich part. My jaw was literally down the whole time. She is definitely very rich. We got to the house which she lived in.
" I have prepared a room for you in the basement." Said Aunt Jolie. " I don't have any kids so if you want you can have the whole basement, it can be like your apartment." She said.
"Thank you so much, and for receiving me in, you have no idea how hard it has been the past 5 years." I said, almost tearing up.
" It's okay, I'm here for you, with anything that you need." Aunt Jolie said.
" Now get yourself unpacked , we have some adventuring to do". She said. "And it's very cold outside so put on a good jacket with gloves and everything".
"Okay I'll be right there" I said smiling.
I wonder who or what was upstairs. I went to the basement , wow it's so pretty, purple and blue . Everything looked like it was made for a queen. I truly felt blessed. I unpacked. And put on jackets. And then we left. As we left the building cold, fresh air blew on my face. It felt like having a sip of lemonade after a hot day. We went everywhere. Empire State Building, One World Trade Center, where the twin towers once stood, and Central Park. As I entered I imagined how mostly all famous movies were filmed here. And now I was going to be  living here.
We got back home it was late at night.
"Thank you so much for this day, this city is so beautiful " I Said still amazed.
"No problem Rosita, by the way tomorrow I have to work , I have a friend next door who has a son that can show you around New York so you can get to know it better, I won't be back until 11 pm and I leave at 6 am. You can be the whole day with him". Aunt Jolie said. " Oh uhm, okay what's his name?" I said, a little worried to go walk with a stranger. "Oh your gonna love him, his name is Jay and he is your same age. " She said smiling at me.
" okay good night then" I said.
