Chapter 1

          It was just a normal day at school,  rocking out in class, having fun with friends but most of all , meeting the power couples of the school, Lesme, Fremmer and Zamika. Lawrence and Esme had already gotten together a few months ago and Freddy had recently realised his feelings for Summer and confessed, leaving only Zamika. Fortunately, Summer had a plan to get Tomika and Zack together since she knew about Tomika's major crush on Zack

         First, she got Freddy's help to ask Zack how he felt about Tomika then she would get Tomika to stand nearby to listen to their conversation, little did Summer know that her little plan would change the tough Tomika everyone knew, for the worst...

Tomika's pov
      
           Summer brought me to this tree and made me sit down but I couldn't help but overhear Zack and Freddy's conversation.
        
         "So, how do you feel about Tomika?" Freddy asked Zack teasingly,who was just gulping down a bottle of water nervously after hearing that question. "Huh? No I don't like Tomika at all! She's so demanding and bossy and not to mention ridiculously short!" Yelled Zack, to stop Freddy from teasing him but he didn't realise that Tomika was right behind him.

         He turned around after hearing sniffles behind him. The last thing he saw and heard was Tomika, with tears streaming down her cheeks while Summer chased after her yelling "Tomika!"

          "Oh gosh what have I done!!!!?!" I made my crush cry and...wait I have a crush on Tomika! I messed up big time." Zack screamed internally. He immediately got up and ran after the girls...

Summer's pov
         
          I was sitting at mine and Freddy's hiding spot once I lost Tomika in the crowd and gave up going after her, I guess she needed her space. I sat there hugging my knees to my chest and cried. "This is all my fault! I shouldn't have forced them to get together, if I hadn't asked Freddy to ask Zack about how he felt, my best friend wouldn't be crying at home right now. I've got to fix this." I thought to myself. Just then, Freddy walked up to me and gave me a kiss and looked me in the eye and told me, " I know what you're thinking but it's not your fault Summer, so stop blaming yourself alright ? And let's try another way to help Zamika happen!

Zack's pov

          I grabbed my backpack and ran out of the classroom door and then out of the school and sped to Tomika's house...

Tomika's POV

      "I feel so stupid. Of course he wouldn't like me, I'm short, fat, ugly and bossy, just like what he called me. I'm such a failure, no wonder no one likes me. Summer is probably faking it just like Zack, he acted as though he cared about me but really he was just trying to get close to me and hurt me. I'm such a fool... "

Zack's POV

      "I'm so stupid, what have I done, I love her but now, she probably hates me. I must have hurt her so badly, she'll never want to be my friend again..."

Author's POV

      Zack ran out of the school compound and rushed after Tomika who was on her skateboard on the way home after the incident. He didn't care if he was tired or disappointed in himself, he didn't care if Tomika didn't want to see him anymore because he made one thing clear to himself, he loved her and was willing to run miles after her just to see her be happy again...
