She sprinted out of the shop, adrenaline bathing her insides like fire licking its way to the unknown destination. The serene - and almost unfriendly - setting of the cafe now gone from her mind, her brain was only clouded with the fiery determination to face the one and only who made people think she was mental.

Although her steps were large from automatic anger, the distance between her and the man felt endless. She got almost runned over by a massive vehicle, but paid no attention at the honking as she proceeded forward.

The man wasn't even moving. It was as if he could stare at her where ever she'd be without turning his head or body. She made sure she wasn't too close to him as she stepped over the sidewalk. "What'd you want? Tell and I'll give. Just please leave me alone."

The man - and it indeed was a man and not a woman masked as one - said nothing. After a few seconds he spoke up, a voice made of iron and darkness, "You're going to die."

Aelin felt the wind brush past them, as if to add a dramatic effect. She snickered, "And you're what, my future grim reaper?"

"Technically-"

"Just," she held up a hand, "get to the point. What do you really want?"

"You're going to die. But you have a choice to change it."

"Funny. Very funny. What's with the hat, anyway? Please go to someone else to tell your jokes. Goodbye." Rolling her eyes, she left.

He didn't follow her.
