Millions of years ago, when our ancestors created the first written story, our land came to be. This magnificent land quickly shifted and shaped into two realms: Istoria (ihstoria) and Chorio (korio). Istoria is our realm of magic. It is the home to fairytale characters and their adventures. Chorio is the realm of the villagers and of all the people who provide a minor but still key part in each and every story. Villagers, however, do not not contain any magic within them. Magic is reserved for fairytale creatures and characters. Every once in a while, special people from the villages of Chorio are assigned by Storytellers to enter Istoria and live out the Story of their new character. Once chosen, the villager is bestowed with their own magic so they may function properly in Istoria until the next time new people take their place to relive the timeless Story. To be chosen to live in Istoria is a great honor, whether chosen to be a villain or a castle servant. None must refuse. One's fate is sealed.
