MEGAN'S P.O.V.
I woke up at three in the morning and got ready. I was so tired but so excited at the same time. Kristin would be here at three thirty and our parents were dropping us off at the airport. I brought all my luggage downstairs and piled it into the car. I ended up with two rolling suitcases and two duffel bags. Just as I got my bags into the car, Kristin pulled up with her parents.
They threw Kristin's stuff into the car and we all hopped in and headed to the airport. Our dads got us a cart to put our bags on after we checked in the other suitcases. We were in the middle of saying goodbye when my mom turned to both of us.
"You girls are going to have so much fun on this trip!" she said looking at Kristin's mom. "We got you guys a little something so you can document every little thing that you do!"
She hands us this present wrapped up. Me and Kristin look at each other and then open the present. It was a flip cam!! Kristin's mom started to talk.
"We want you guys to keep little video diaries so you can look back and remember this trip forever."
Kristin and I were speechless. We LOVED it! "THANK YOU!" We shouted at the same time.
We ran and hugged our parents and heard the flight attendant. "The 5:00 departing flight to London is now boarding." We said our final goodbyes and headed onto the plane.
Right after the plane took off, we both fell asleep and didn't wake up until we landed. Once we landed, we grabbed our stuff and headed off the plane. We got the rest of our suitcases from baggage claim and headed out to find a man with our names written on the paper.
"THIS IS GOING TO BE THE BEST TRIP EVER!!" We screamed to each other as we entered the car to take us to the hotel.
