At the Gala
Ace Pov
'This is it' I thought to myself as I stood outside the room that leads to the Gala. Contemplating if I should just walk in or run back to my room
'what will they think of me'
'will they hate me'
'what if I fall and embarrass myself in front of everyone'

?:"ugh stop being such a baby and just walk in"
A:"easy for you to say your not me your just some voice in my head" I said in a low whisper
?:"yeah a voice that's telling you to get your Ass in that room"
A:"why you little-"
Kory:"Ace"
I look at kory and ignore the annoying voice yelling in my head
A:"yes"
K:"Are you alright?" she said worried
A:"yeah I-I just-"
I stop myself and take a breath
A:"what if they don't like me Kory?"
Kory:"what is there not to like? you are nice,caring and adorable...listen Ace there's nothing to be nervous about lets just go in I'll be right next to you "
A:"ok... thanks Kory"
K:"no problem" kory said with a smile
I open the door and walk in all eyes were on me I sucked in a shaky breath, feeling my throat constrict. Panic rose like bile in my body. I suddenly didn't know how to speak. Or walk. I just stood blankly, staring up at the people before me. My palms were clammy, and it was all I could do not to knot my fingers together. "Hello." I managed, the word rolling out of my mouth like tumbleweed.some of the the men and woman sent me a small smile and others just went back to talking I look over to kory and give her a smile and she returns it I then look back in the crowd and spot Damian His eyes wandered around the crowd. Mine stayed locked on him. but finally we lock eye contact he then starts to make his way over to me. I look back at kory and nod my head to tell her I'm alright. she at first looked confused but when Damian was by my side she imedietly understood and left
D:"um Ace"
I turn my attention to Damian
A:"yeah"
D:"can I talk to you in private" he said looking over to the patio across the room
A:"sure"
~Time skip~
on the patio
A:"so what do you want to tell me"
D:"I want you to know something, But I don't know how to tell it. so I'll let the first three words explain it. I like you. A lot. it's ok of you don't like me back but I just want to let you know"
I couldn’t find my voice. I felt my cheeks flushed hot, and my stomach was heavy. My heart pounded in my throat, threatening to break out. why me? out of all of the other girls in this world he picks me yes over the past few days I started to develop feelings for him and he makes me happy whenever I'm around him
A:"Damian I-I like you too"
