A Game You Called "Love"

"Are you okay?"
That was all it took
To feel as my heart was being ripped apart
From what was once yours
And mine.

When I thought we were going great
It was the beginning of my heartbreak
I tried to convince myself
That everything was okay
But you had other plans to make.

You made me feel invinsible
A power I wish wasn't mine
And as I got used to it
The more it was used against me
What we had, was it even real?

For someone who always has something to say
Silence was all you gave
While I gave you my all
But you managed to hand me
A shattered heart.

"Stop here please" I begged Mother
For I didn't want anyone
To know of my fallen tears
You had left me speechless
But this time with a bullet hole in the chest
Instead of a smile on my face.

But I am the fool
The one to let you in again
And here I stand
Stronger, I hope
Yet so lost and afraid.
