Chapter Eight~ Sick Sister

Deadlox's P.O.V.

Wait....

What?

"You're joking right?" I asked, honestly still not believing its true.

"Do I look like I'm joking Tyler..." She said using me full name, that's when I realised this is no joke, nor prank.

"I just can't believe how long he has hid this from me...." I whispered back.

"Some things are better kept a secret Ty" Nyix smiled reassuringly.

"Let's head back inside sky will be wor-" I was cut off by a sound of a stick snapping, Nyix jumped up alarmed and stepped back so she stood behind me.

"Shit" I heard a males voice softly whisper, then he walked out.

I looked at his appearance taking in, what seemed to be hybrid parts.

He had one blue eye, one gold and also had white hair. He wore a hooded jumper that is white, with gold trimming but the hood stayed on his head. He had cat ears, that had a little chunk missing, and a raccoon tail.

"I-I ca-n expla-in" he stuttered, obviously scared.

"Go ahead." I said, as Nyix took a step forward now standing beside me.

"Y-ou see.... My-my si-ster.... S-he's very s-Ic-k and we do-nt have med-acine.... I-I jus-t need h-h-help.." He stuttered as he told us.

"Where is she?" Nyix mumbled softly.

"S-he's back in the f-Orest please..." He pleaded for help, I can't say that I don't think this is some kind of trap but I'm not mean enough to not give him anything.

"I'll get it for you, just wait here" I replied walking inside.

Nyix's P.O.V.

I looked at the boy who looked to be 15-16 years of age.

"What's your name?" I mumbled even softer then the first time.

"J-ack... How about y-ou?" He smiled friendly, I replied muttering my name and he nodded his head.

Sky's P.O.V.

Ty came rushing in after being outside with Nyix for awhile, he grabbed medicine for people with a flu.

And then pain killers, wait what happened while they were out there?

"Ty? What happened" I asked standing up as he stopped and looked at me.

"A boy came out of the forest, said his sister was sick... I'm going to help" Ty smiled at me.

"Can I come?" I asked.

"Sure"

I followed Ty outside and looked at the boy, wait cat tail and raccoon ears?

What the... Ok sky just ignore it....

We began to walk off into the forest sticking together, we walked for awhile, it almost felt like forever.

We stopped at what seemed to be, a camp fire with a pillow and blanket.

Under the blanket, laid a girl who seemed very sick.

"Your back" She smiled obviously trying to hide her weakness.

I looked at the girl, taking in her appearance.

She had very light green hair, that was almost white. One of her eyes were rainbow while the other was a dull silver, I'm guessing she was half blind or so thing... I don't know.... She wore a white hoodie and black ripped shorts, and white boots. She had emerald wolf ears, and an emerald wolf tail.... Wow strange....

I watched as Ty went over to her, and assisted while Nyix and the boy talked to each other, they didn't make much of a conversation...

I assume their both shy around new people...

I walk over to Ty and look at the girl,

"What's your name?" Ty asked her smiling as he handed her some pills.

"Neo" she smiled softly, then swallowing down the pills and laying back down.

Nyix's P.O.V.

Everything was quiet, I stood near the lake.

Watching as Ty, sky, and Jack assisted with Jacks sister.

"Psst! Nyix!" I heard an un formilar voice, I turned around and no one was there....

Weird....

"In the water" the voice said, I looked down to see a squid...

How can squids talk?....

I walked over to the lake and kneeled down beside it.

Hm..

All of a sudden, I felt a slimy tentacle garb my leg and pull me into the water.

I heard Ty screaming, I looked at him dive in the water trying to save me.

I noticed the squid grabbed his ankle too, I tried to get it off him, and I.

But suddenly everything turned black.
