07| a sky full of stars

You opened your gate, a shade of light pink is still spread across all over your face, you gulped as you remembered his smile, he's so beautiful. A smile tugged the corners of your lips, making it visible to anyone that you are smiling, you opened the door, there's no screaming, no Hoseok.

You frown, as you remembered him, you can't find him, you tried, even the stranger who walk you home, tag along with you as you walk around the whole neighborhood, even if it's already dark and you barely know him.

You sigh and walk in, you closed the door behind you and walk further into the living room just to see them scattered around, Yoongi is sleeping on the couch silently, he curled into a ball, making him appear smaller than he already is, Jin is sleeping beside Yoongi, but he is on a sitting position, you smiled at how cute they look like, and then looked down, just to see Jungkook, hugging his rabbit plushie,he rested his head on a pillow while he snuggled on the small light blue blanket that you gave him

You averted your attention to Taehyung, who is sleeping on a weird position, his half body is in the couch next to the unconscious Jin while his head is lying on Jimin's stomach, is he okay? You asked yourself as you gently went to where he is, "Taehyung—ah." You called out as you picked him up, he just hum and you laughed before placing him next to Jimin.

"Aigoo." You said as you sat on the floor, you scan the whole room, wait, where is Namjoon? You asked yourself as you immediately stood up, you walked around the house, keeping yourself as silent as possible so you wouldn't wake any of the kids up.

You went upstairs, where there is balcony, you don't know why, but you could sense that he is there, you walked closer to the brown door, opening it you saw him, sitting on a chair with his eyes fixed on the periodic table, you giggled, he is only a kid, why would he have something like that? You walked closer and notice the stack of books that is laying flatly on the ground, "Namjoonie," you called out and he immediately snap his head to your direction, he smiled showing you his dimples

You grinned happily as you sat on the chair that is next to him, "why are you here?" You asked

He smiled and showed you the periodic table, "I'm just memorizing the elements of the periodic table, noona." He said, you nodded and looked up, "noona." He called out

You looked down to him, and hum, "ne?"

"Why are you living alone in a big house?" He asked

You smiled sadly, "why do you wanna know?" You asked

He shyly scratched his nape, trying to think of something, he opened his mouth and stare at your eyes, "I just want to know you noona, and I wanted to make you feel at ease." He said

You blink a few times as you tried to know where he got this answer, and what did he mean by feeling at ease?

"Where did—"

"Whenever I was sad or down, my mother would always come to me, asking me how my day went, and if I had a bad day and told her everything, she'd stay by my side as I rant and grumble on words, after that, I always feel at ease." He smiled, no everything he said about his mother comforting him was a lie, he was never closed to his parents, his parents doesn't even care about him.

You smiled, completely soothed by the words that escaped his lips, "You're so cute. I wish you were my sibling, along with the others." You chuckled and he just stare at you, why would you want us to be your siblings? He asked himself

He just sigh, "so answer me now noona." He smiled sheepishly at you and you just laughed

"Arraseo, so when I was a kid, I've got a family, there's only me and my parents, we own a company when I was young, and it was one of the most biggest company in Korea, but one day, my father went bankrupt, I don't know why though, but ever since that day, my whole entire life changed." You said, as you bit your lip

He looked up to you, "why?"

"When we go bankrupt, we moved here, and everything went back to normal—but that's what I thought, it was the first day of snow, I was walking home from school to our old house since my mom told me that they are there, so I walk there, happily. I was humming into a sweet melody, but then stopped when I saw my father and mother being shot in the head multiple times by a man in a black suit, it was a traumatic experience, though, but I was so relieved that the man didn't found me, because if he did, I would've been killed." You said, tears are already in the verge of spilling out, but you hold it back

"After that incident, I went to school, the kids are looking at me in terror and the mothers are whispering as I walk to my class, I was 9 years old that time and of course, I felt like I was a monster of some sort, so I ran to the old tree that is behind the school and cried until the first period ended." You said, as you remembered how the kids look at you

"Then I went to high school, it was tougher than expected to be honest, since the students would always give me dirty looks or tell something stupid as I pass by, but of course it was a relief when Yugyeom went with me, since we are best friends since we were kids, but it also made my high school life worse, since Yugyeom is one of the heartthrob in our campus, girls that are crushing onto him would always bully me, kt was tiring to be honest." You said as you let out a sigh

"All in all, people look at me as a monster or a bad guy, but I don't even know what I did wrong." That was it, you finally broke down, Namjoon frown at the sight of you crying so he inched closer to you, and in instinct, he wrapped his arms you, even though it's a lot shorter, he still made you feel at ease.

You hugged back and buried your head onto the crook of his neck, "Thank you." You sob as you hugged him closer to you

He can't help himself but smile and blush at the same time, "don't you dare leave me." You said, a soft laughter escaped your lips, you didn't pull back, you just stayed like that,

Namjoon was blushing as he heard you muttered those words to his ears, it was very soothing to hear you with the angelic laughter or yours, he smiled, his dimples showing as he did so, "I won't leave you noona, I promise."

You smiled, "that's good to hear then, cause I don't know what will I do If I lose you guys, and If I lose you." You said, as you smiled and pulled back from the hug.

Namjoon smiled, "that's so good to hear." He murmur to himself, you didn't heard it of course, since you were starring at the moon, and because it was just a murmur, he smiled, as he stare at you with his heart pounding so hard on his chest and him being captivated bu your beauty

It was a nice cozy night, with the cool autumn air gently touching your skin, and with the nice scenery that is beyond your eyes, a sky full of stars, but he was starring at you.
