Lucy's POV
The sun had yet to come. It was pitch black outside and so cold that frosty flakes had formed on her window and blocking the view of her beautiful rose garden. And blocking the view to her father leaving for work in his car.
Huffing and sweating, Lucy woke up from her traumatizing dream. Her legs sprung up, making her sit bolt upright.
She stayed in the sitting position for a few minutes and looked out of the window, expecting light but being disappointed by the darkness."Holy crap... that felt so real..."
She nervously looked at the clock.
| 6:09 am |
"Huh, I still have time."
She decided to forget the dream in a nice hot bubble bath and have toast for breakfast. So, she got up and walked sleepily towards the mirror only to see one brown eye peeking out of a mess of blonde hair and her Pyjama dangerously sliding down.
She chuckled but didn't dare to say a word (because of the obvious reason of morning breath). And attempted to smile at herself in the mirror. Didn't exactly look like one, though. (a/n who can relate *raises hand*)
An Hour and a half later she stepped out of the bathtub, put on some clothes and walked down the long and cold corridor where her maid Virgo would greet her. Stting at the table, she ate some toast all by herself. She stopped eating, noticing that her appetite had gone. The dream wouldn't leave her head.
She closed her eyes. The coldness, the scream, her mother... the fear.
Everything had seemed so real.
"Get a hold of yourself! It's just a dream... it's all in the past. Mom's just fine."(a/n am I the only one getting dramatic vibes?...sorry)
Exhaling calmy, she opened her eyes and got up. The clock said 8:00 am.
"Better get going..."
She sighed, happy to get out of the house.
Natsu's POV
*Meanwhile, on the other side of the city....*
"AAAAAAAAH!!"
A loud scream erupted from a wooden house near the woods.
"Happy! You scared me!" A man with salmon pink hair chuckled, stroking the soft blue fur of his now purring cat.
He sighed. It had been 5 years... 5 years since he had disappeared (a/n 3 guesses who). Taking the bag of cat food, he poured it in a bowl for happy.
"I can find him, I definitely will." He said, so into his thoughts that he didn't notice that the bowl was overflowing.
Happy gave him a reproachful look and started eating.Natsu laughed and apologized, quickly getting ready for school.

He ran to the bus station, siting down in the only empty seat there was, wiping sweat off of his face.
The female next to him smiled cutely and turned towards him. He only then noticed it. The smell...the feeling...
"NOOOO I FORGOT MY LUNCH!"He panicked and searched through his bag and sighed. He really had forgotten his lunch.
This made the girl next to him giggle and he turned to snap at her, but stopped when he noticed how beautiful she was. (a/n I am very sorry for the next bit please don't kill me)Her short pearly hair, her blue eyes...
"Wow..."
"Hey! I'm Lisanna, what's your name?"
She cutely smiled again.(a/n oh yeah btw lisanna is nice in this story)
"Heh I'm N-Natsu, nice to meet cha!"
He nervously replied. They kept talking till they reached school and also met up in breaks for the next weeks. Natsu noticed how incredible the bonding between them was. And from then on, they were best friends. Although, Natsu had always thought of her as more than just a friend.... he never really dared to confess though. Coward.~ Timeskip: 2 years later ~
