My heart

When I'm near you, why does it feel like my heart is going to beat out of my chest?

                                                                                I guess I can say, that you're not quite like the rest.

I want you to know that you make my heart race..

Or can you not see it all over my face?

It's pretty obvious that I like you, or maybe even love you.

but, i'm afraid to get the words out of my mouth...

Will it cause our relationship to go south?

My heart just wants us to be together...

it doesn't have to be heavy; it can be as light as a feather.

and its not like I'm asking you to love me forever.

Take a good look, and you'll see...

That my heart belongs to you.
