There I was, holding a knife to (Y/n)'s throat, ready to slice it open, but I hesitated.

"What is wrong with me?" I mumbled. I laughed at my own thought. "I could list plenty of things."

Just as I was about to finally kill her, I heard a growl from the darkness. Intrigued, I turned away from (Y/n), and saw a dark grey cat with bright green eyes.

"Aw! You must think you're a mighty lion! And little old me is just a helpless gazelle!" I giggled twirling my knife. The cat hissed, and carefully started to approach me.

"That's right kitty, come closer so I can tell you my secret!" I held back more laughter. The cat jumped at me hostilely. Being quick, I caught it. The cat started hissing and biting at me, eventually scratching my arm, causing me to let it go. It fell next to (Y/n) and curled up in a ball next to her. Every time I started to get close the cat would hiss.

"You have got to be kidding me!" I exclaimed, "I'm not going to be beaten by a stupid cat!" I was about to throw my knife when I heard Toast calling for (Y/n) and Johnny-boy. The cat looked up at me like I was stupid, and then rested its head on (Y/n). I glared at the cat,

"This isn't over kitty," I said as I ran up a fire escape.

"(Y/n)!" I called, "Sir? Anyone?" No response.

Where the blazes did they go? I thought. I felt something brush my leg, and I looked down to see a dark grey cat rubbing against my leg.

"Hello there!" I said as I picked up the cat. It yowled in surprise, but didn't fight me. "I don't suppose you know where my friends went, do you?" The cat looked at me like I was an idiot, and jumped out my arms. It started walking away, but then turned around, as if it wanted me to follow it.

"I don't have much a choice, do I?" I asked. The cat continued to look at me like I was an idiot, and continued walking after I started following it. At first I didn't believe it, but the cat led me right to (Y/n)! She was sitting against a wall, and looked very hurt.

"Toast!" She exclaimed, trying to stand up. She failed, as her leg didn't seem to hold her. I ran over to her.

"What happened?" I asked. She put a hand on her head and tried to think.

"I-I don't know," She stuttered, "All I remember is running and those eyes..." She paused.

"What eyes?" I asked.

"... T-They were s-so red! A-And crazed!" She covered her face with her hands and started crying. I picked her up bridal style and carried her trembling body back to the car. I put her down in the passenger seat, and buckled her in. She fell asleep crying. I brought her back to her apartment and put her in bed. As I was about to leave, she had woken up.

"Toast?" She asked. I turned around and saw her sitting up.

"What is it (Y/n)?" I asked.

"Can you stay here tonight? I-I don't want to be alone," She said while scanning the room as if she was expecting an unknown creature to jump out of the darkness. I sat on a chair across the room to be respectful of her space.

"I'll be right here," I told her. She flashed a short, sad smile towards me, and lay back down in her bed.

The poor thing is terrified, I thought, what happened? And where did Ghost go? With those thoughts running through my mind, I fell asleep.

How is this going to work? I thought to myself as I watched (Y/n) and Toast sleeping in the building across the street. I could always kill both of them, but then Ghost would kill himself and I'd never be able to do anything again. I'm kind of hungry for Cheetos. I wonder if (Y/n) has any Oreos in there. What if I killed that bird that won't stop cooing? I want chicken now. Do pigeons taste like chicken?

"Um, excuse me; the roof isn't available for use right now. If you want to smoke, I suggest you go out to the sidewalk," A security guard called from behind me. I cackled and quickly ran up to him. He tried to pull a weapon, but I knocked it out of his hand, and cut his chest open. He screamed in pain, and held his bleeding chest. I smiled as I watched him fall to his knees.

"I have a family," He weakly begged. I giggled,

"I'll make sure to visit them too." I slit his throat and watched contently as dark red blood started spraying on my clothing, and dripping on the ground. He gagged and choked, while his body fell to the ground, a pool of blood forming around him. He was still alive so I stomped on his head. Hearing a satisfying cracking nose, his body went limp.

Knowing the scream alerted people in the building; I jumped across to the next rooftop, and climbed down another fire escape.

I killed a few more people, and went back home. I flopped down in bed, and quickly fell asleep; knowing Ghost would take back over soon.

"Sir!" I heard Toast yell from downstairs. I waited for Ghost to do something, but he wasn't taking over! I quickly jumped out of bed and checked the mirror in the bathroom, nearly tripping over something.

"Show me Ghost," I said into the mirror, panicking.

Nothing.

Greggs? I thought to him. Hopefully using our real name would wake him, but still nothing. Gregory! Say something! Don't leave me!

Still nothing.

He's gone, I panicked.

"He's gone!" I screamed. This can't be happening! Where did he go? What is he doing? He's an important part of me! I can't lose him!

"Sir?" Toast asked. I looked over to the confused British man, and grabbed him by the shoulders.

"I can't get him back!" I screamed while shaking him.

"Sir, what are you talking about!?" Toast asked, escaping from my grip, "Why are you covered in blood and-" He cut himself off when he looked at my eyes.

"It was you, wasn't it?" He started, "You're the one that tried to kill (Y/n)! What did you do to Ghost? Tell me now!" He said. I began to panic more.

"Yes! I did try to kill her! But I didn't do anything to Ghost! I can't get him to come back!" I tried to explain.

"Lies!" Toast argued, "Who are you? What did you do to Ghost!?" In a panic I smacked Toast over the head with a book from a self that was next to me.

"I'm Jimmy Casket!" I screamed at his unconscious body. In a few moments after panicking more, I myself fell unconscious.
