For thiusands of years, the world was cur into three parts. The elemental plane, where elements and Emotes, the keepers of balance in the universe , resided. Earth where the humans reside. And The under world, that sins and other nasty spirits call home. One day a girl for the elemental plane, Pandora, stumbled across a decorative box. It was adorned with the markings of all 7 of the major elements:
Fire
Water
Earth
Air
Thunder
Darkness
And Light.
Pandora was the first to ever be able to control all 7 elements, so she knew this box must belong to her. She eagerly opened the box, and inside was full of a terrible dark substance that started leaking out everywhere. Pandora tried to run away but was consumed by the darkness. Her screams echoed out into the night.
The sins escaped from the underworld and started destroying everything in the elemental plane. The good emotes fought valiantly but were slain. It will be several months before they can return.
Hope collected her strongest elementals, and sent them into the human world to merge with humans that matched with them.
Thus their story begins.
