(Lance POV)
I was a child when I left home still scared of going out side at night, terrified of my closet door at night but, now I wished to still feel fear of the night and the monster in my closet, oh how I wished to be home and not have this weight on me of saving the world..
"Lance your going to be late to training." I heard a pound on the door it was Piged
"Okay I'll be their in a second.."
"Okay." Foot steps slowly disappeared
I wiped the tears off my face and walked toward the door as I opened it I felt fear struck me of how I will be yelled at for being late how I'll be told to pay attention that I would get them killed. I walked back in to my room and the door shut, I couldn't I just couldn't go today my legs started to become wobbly I fell to the floor on my knees holding my head crying no sobbing I couldn't breath it hurt everything hurt..
//Footsteps//
"Lance, you need to hurr.. lance?"
It was Keith he quickly slid on the ground next to me asking me what happened was I hurt.
I think it clicked in his mind what was going on he then told me to breathe in and out as he did. I calmed down and slowly sat criss cross still with my head down.
Keith reached his hands around my and hugged me and told me it was going to be okay.
"Hey, you think you can tell me what happened?" Keith asked quietly
"Yeah.."
"Okay."
"I was about to go to the training room but as soon as I step into the hallway I couldn't breathe and I started shaking.. I had one before a few times, I didn't know it was coming I could of calmed down my self but I was terrified.... thanks man."
"Yeah no problem. I had them before also."
"We missed training didn't we?" My voice was weak.
"Yeah, it's okay though I'll tell them you needed help with something."
"Thank you."
I leaned into Keith for a hug he accepted it and hugged me back
"If you have one again come get me, Okay?"
"Yea, Okay"
We sat in the floor talking about earth and our friends at home and what we would do when we got back.
"I would go eat a actual salad if we get back."
I said
"Really a salad? Out of all the foods you would get a salad."
"Yeah, I would have them for days straight but my mom wouldn't let me have them for a while if she saw because it's 'unhealthy'." I quoted unhealthy with my fingers Keith laughed at it
He was about to start a conversion again till the door opened with a angry Allura
"LANCE YOU WHERE SUPPOSED TO BE AT TRAINING WHERE WAS YOU!" she yelled
"Calmed down." Keith stared into Allura eyes
"And you where supposed to get him! We have no time to slack off you lazy knockoffs, if it wasn't for Shrio you would of been gone Lance we don't need you are you stupid comments your a horrible pilot."
Memories hit me of the Garrison
"You'll never be a pilot if you keep acting like this! We don't need you anyways since Keith can take over anytime so grow up!" The commander yelled at me with his finger in my face
"It's not like I wanted to be here!" I yelled I never yell at Allura but am so mad I could rip her apart
She scoffs "Then why are you still holding us back."
"Shut up! Allura you are no princess to treat a team member like that you think you don't need him but we do our actual team Hunk, Piged, Shiro and me we all need him because he's the heart to our team he's the one who makes sure we eat and sleep so shut up and get out of here. You have no right to call yourself a princess!" Keith yelled with tears in his eyes but he quickly wipes his face.
Allura walks out of the room with loud stomps
"Thank you Keith."
