If I could just have a piece of time
Not much, just one slice of the past
I could capture that moment forever
Just to have you in my heart
Lock it I would in a safe
In my heart to be
Comforting me, each time I chose
For I would have the key
I'd dive in deep, and bring it out
Everytime I felt sad and low
That memory would make my spirits lift
Each time I watched it through
But one moment is so hard to choose
To cherish, protect and keep
How would I name just one
When I have gathered a heap!
So instead I'd build a library
Deep inside my heart
To keep all moments I had with you
Before we were torn apart
I could visit it each time I liked
Down the memory lane we had trodden
This library would be a vow to you
That you would never be forgotten
