James laid there panting as the strange stinging sensation started to dull. The abuse was a strange mix of pleasure and pure white hot pain. He looked over at Lilith who arched her back slightly as her eyes closed. He called out to her but it took longer for his words to even begin to sink in. She was mostly gone as she rubbed her back over the filthy floor.
When she did come to, Lilith looked to James confused. "What the hell happened?" then the metallic taste hit her tongue once again. The teen hunched over and began to vomit. The thick crimson liquid splattered all over the ground, however seeing the blood it only made her sickness worse. None of this was natural, why was she losing control over her own body and the things she should have been able to command?
The female wiped her mouth smudging blood along her forearm but she cared little at this point about blood upon her skin. James had sat up during the time she spent rejecting her 'snack' and was currently bandaging his own wounds. Placing pressure upon the gash in hopes of both stopping the last few trickles of blood as well as to hide it from Lilith encase she decided to go full vampire on him again.
James laughed lightly and shook his head before turning his attention back to the black haired girl. Lilith slowly pushed herself up from the floor and unhooked her backpack letting it fall beside her.
She seemed detached as her fingers moved through her bag. Part of her wasn't sure what she was looking for. After a few long moments Lilith retrieved whatever it was that she needed at this moment. A rather decent sized white box was held between her hands. She gave the hard plastic a bit of a squeeze almost as if she were trying to prove it were real. Considering most of her grip upon reality was fading all too quickly. It was then she realized she was alone once more.
Lilith felt panic settle within her as James was not only missing but the room had moved and shifted into something different altogether. Everything within the fog seemed to be living. To be in a constant state of evolving.
The building had taken on a form familiar to the female. How she had found herself at her own doorstep she couldn't have explained it if she tried.
A knot formed deep within the very pit of her stomach telling her to turn back and run but her body refused to obey. She moved further in taking in everything. Looking for any reason to run. Soon she came to the stairs where something made her blood run cold. Near the top of the steps one in particular appeared to be bleeding. As if it were a living thing that had been cut. The blood spilled out creating a waterfall that cascaded downward towards the raven haired teen.
Instinct took over and she ran quickly. Slamming the door behind her. She knew that was haunting her now and it frightened her more that the creatures she had encountered.
The memories of a child's cries and the crack of bone. Her aunt yelling trying to piece together why her actions become to violent towards someone of her own flesh and blood but mostly of attending her infant brother's funeral.
Lilith screamed ramming a fist into a brick wall scrapping off the skin of her knuckles causing a redness to crawl over the flesh that surrounded the new wound. "Now Darling I know you wanted my attention but hurting your self isn't the answer."
The teen turned to lock eyes with James who only gave her a cocky grin. "Fuck you" she responded with a shaky voice. "Lilith we need to keep moving. He is getting closer and I personally don't want to find out what happens if he finds us."
She was about to questions who he spoke of when she heard the massive beast's blade dragging upon the floor.
