Wonder
is the door to another world inside our consciousness. It is a way of thinking through the lense of curiosity around us. The inner child can find its escape through the wonder of everyday things. It captivates our youth, keeping our mind's alive and flourishing with new ideas, gaining wisdom as we age. Growing up without nourishing wonder, ceases our imagination, creating a one-dimensional being. Experiencing life with childlike wonder can give us the depth that cannot be achieved through certainty. Imagining things outside of the bounds of what is possible, can create an entirely new reality. The unconscious mind is opened through daydreaming. Conscious and unconscious states can come together to make the wonder come alive. Dreaming, day in and day out, inspires us to the greatness that can be achieved through everyday wonder.
Wonder is the awe seen in the eyes of a loved one. Seeing our beloved as a whole, inside and out, perfectly imperfect. When looking upon someone with awe, wonder and amazement captivates our minds and strengthens the thoughts of the one we see. Admiration is the key to wonder when talking of love. Wonder opens our hearts to the things unseen, helping us love without the barriers of a closed off mind. The presence of each other brings us to the innocent amazement that draws us into the wonderment of love.
The human mind is a maze. It can trap us in a labyrinth of thoughts. It makes us want to never return to reality. The scenes of everyday life gets morphed into a dystopian life that we control inside our own heads. Diving into our mind can help us understand what we do not know. What we need to know. Wonder ties every last one of our thoughts and feelings together, making everything connect and flow into the reality we have today. Without wonder, the darkness would cast a shadow over the light in our world.
Perhaps some other day, we will be able to share our wonder with the rest of the world. We will be able to let others into our minds and share all of the thoughts that make us who we are. There would no longer be hate if there was a way to share the wonder we have inside of us with others. Wonder can bring us together with the thoughts we do not know. It shows things that while we might not be able to fully understand, others can. Wonder not only shows us the unseen, saves our childlike mind, and keeps our love alive; it helps us make everything worth it in this life. Without wonder; where are the questions? Where is the strive to do more? Would we be where we are at today without the will to wonder? Keeping this skill alive in us will be the only thing that helps the human race to stay alive. We can come together as one and solve the problems of today. Wonder is the lifeline of our world that asks us to be right, just, and good.
