I held her hand in mine, I wouldn't really expect her to notice, since the doctors did say her body is numb. She looked down at it, and I also expected her to yank it out of my hand, but surprisingly she smiled back and held my hand back. I could feel my heart about to burst out. Not until I got the news that my best friend would be marrying one of my co-workers,Sehun, that I would feel this urge to protect her more than ever. The fear of her losing her warm smile and faking it all.

"Taeyong?" She called me, I shook my head and smiled at her.

"Sorry. I was thinking." I rubbed my neck with my other hand and started walking with her.

"You've been spacing out since I awoken, you don't usually do this." She looked up at me with her curious eyes. I could feel the heat rise up to my cheeks, but I looked away and kept my cool face on.

"Yeah, I've just been thinking of the things my group has to do." I said casually, but really I've been thinking of her the day I meet her.

"Oh." She said looking down. I looked down at her with the coroners of my eye. Then an idea came into mind.

"Want to go into the garden. This hospital has this garden for patients to walk around." I said happily, she smiled and nodded her head in agreement. We took the elevators, still holding hands, and walked out into the garden. There weren't many people around, and it's weird cause it's only the middle of the day. I wonder if she still remembers her wedding with Sehun. She still remembers him and her friends, but the doctor did say there are some things she's forgotten.

"Wow! There's a pond too!" Her eyes opened wide as she saw a beautiful shimmering pond. We walked over there and seeing how clean it was and the water that flowed, the fishes in it. "It's looks so peaceful." She kneeled down, and admired it for awhile. She was about to touch the water, but she paused. I looked confused at her.

"Mimi, you can touch it." I squatted down next to her. I held her hand and helped her touch the water. Our hands touched the water, I felt a rush of ice in my veins...What the? I retracted my hands out the water and off her hand. I jumped back as she looked at me.

"D-did you feel that?" She asked me holding her hand that I touched. Her eyes shaking. I couldn't think right now, what did I just feel? "Taeyong?" She called my name again, I shook my head and went back to her and helped her sit up.

"Um, yeah, but I'm sure it's nothing." Taeyong chuckled. "Let's umm sit over there." I led the us to a small bench.

"But Taeyong, this just isn't normal." Taemi sat down and furried her brows. I looked at her and sighed, knowing what we experienced wasn't normal, but it just seemed too fantastic.

"I know, Mimi." What if that dragon tattoo has to do with what happened to us...but I don't have a dragon tattoo.

"Ever since I woke up, I've felt this rush of something going through my entire body. Like it wasn't ice, until we touched the water, it's more of a lonely burning sensation. I don't know how to explain it." She said look her arm.

"I still feel the ice feeling going through my veins." I told her putting my hands in my pocket. "My hands are getting colder by the second." I chuckled a bit, she looked at me.

"What have I done?" She stood up and took a step back. I immediately stood up, and took out my hands from inside my pockets and hugged her. The ice feeling was gone when I hugged her.

"You haven't done anything. I'll look more into this later, but now what matters most is you." I said gripping her tightly. I could feel a warm sensation between the two of us, something I can't describe.

"Taeyong." She said softly, I smiled and let go of her and looked at her straight in the eye.

"Even this world becomes fantasy-like, I'll still protect you with any danger that comes near you. And you know why?" I looked seriously into her dark brown eyes. I smirked and kissed her, I'm sorry Mimi, I can't help it. I've loved you for way too long to hold this moment back. I felt so happy, but I knew I had to let go. This is my best friend I'm talking about. When I looked at her eyes they looked so surprised. "Uh, Taemi?" I chuckled a bit.

"Taeyong?" She kept blinking her eyes looking so confused. I laughed a bit and hugged her again.

"I can't help but say this. I love you, Taemi. I loved you since the day I met you. Ever since then I've dreamt of marrying you and spending the rest of my life with you. But ever since your marriage with Sehun—-,"

"Wait. Marriage with Sehun? When?" She laughed, I looked confused at her. Is this the thing she forgot about. "Wait, are you for real?" She looked stunned. Maybe if I say no, she'll feel at rest for a bit.

"I'm kidding of course." I laughed. "Silly me." She smiled and hugged me.

"I love you too, Taeyong." My eyes widen, but softened and I hugged her back. I hate lying to her like this, but I want her to be with me, not him.

"So umm, does this mean we're dating?" I chuckled a bit and looked away, I wasn't really experienced with all the dating labels.

"I don't know." She smiled as lightly hit me. "You're knowledge of dating is as equally as mine."

"Well, then I guess we are." I held her hand in mine, and looked straight i it her beautiful eyes. "You'll always be mine, you're the only person who can melt this cold soul." I said seriously but she laughed.

"That's a little too cheesy even for you, jagi."

"I know, come in let's head back into the hospital." I was about to take her back in until a voice stopped us.

"Kim Taemi. Lee Taeyong." The voice was familiar, high registered vocal range. We both turned around to see Hyeon-ya, and boy did she look pissed.

"Ah, hi Hyeon-ya. What's wrong?" I asked keeping Taemi behind me, since it looked like she was looking straight at her.

"I'm sure Taemi will be glad to hear this," Her mouth started to clench, "Sehun and I have broken up." She finished and breathed. My mouth was opened a little and I could sense Taemi doing the same. "So, I guess Sehun and you can have you're wedding now." The word wedding, it started to trigger Taemi as she started coming out from behind me.

"I'm sorry to hear this bad news, Hyeon-ya, but I never recall marrying Sehun. Taeyong and I are now dating, so please stop talking this foolishness." She said sternly, I hated seeing her buy into my lie like that.
